Global Dominance

With Roosevelt's gaize fixed firmly on the south pacific he fails to notice the treaties the Axis have signed with South Americas greatest power. Seizing the initiative GetΓΊlio Dornelles Vargas orders his military into action, capturing Panama swiftly then sweeping up the Mexican pacific coast and storming the Southern States. The world sits in stunned silence as the greatest hope for the war examines the options in fighting the war on its own mainland. Fear has gripped the Allied nations across the globe.

-
@hepps ROFL! You are taking this to the extreme!

-
@prastle Just creating screen shots after I design each nations units.

-
And last little teaser for the day. This one is being left for your imaginations.

-
@hepps Is that the new materials?
-
@prastle Is it? Never really can tell when you are dealing with me.
-
@hepps (quietly says underhanded words under his breath)
-
@prastle Is one of those words "tabernac"?

-
@hepps Nah, I'm guessing that's the PU resource symbol when trading PUs.
-
@redrum Some people are just to damn keen for their own good.

-
@hepps I get that a lot

Really like the resource units. They look great and obvious to at least some of us.
-
@redrum I WAS going to use the same ingot image for the PU and the Steel... but I know some of us have challenges.

-
@hepps A material is a resource. I am glad that you didn't shade them similar.
Since I know the challenges was directed at my eyesight
-
@prastle You were only part of the equation.... there is another who apparently has difficulty distinguishing units.

-
I just completed a slightly altered version for these resources...

Since the PU, Steel and Fuel will not be usable in the same way as materials.... I want to create better distinction between them. The above is a prototype design... I tested it against all the colours used within the map and it seems to have a good impact on making them easily identifiable.
Thoughts? Feedback?
-
@hepps "May the glowing FORCE! be with them..."

-
@prastle I'm not clear... are you mocking me? Or saying you would prefer the glow to distinguish the commodities from the materials?
-
@hepps I am saying they look lovely!
-
So how do commodities function? Do they give super powers. hehe. They look like Nazi treasure. Nice job.
-
@general_zod The resources (a.k.a. commodities) are purchasable units. These units need to be moved to an allies predetermined L&L (lend & Lease) and/or T.C. (Trade Center) territories where they will turn back into actual resources for the receiving nation.
No more hypothetical support... now if the U.S. is going to support Britain... they are going to have fill transports with the raw materials and sail them there.

All part of the grand scheme to make the battle for the worlds oceans all that much more citical.
