can't load saved game

Just downloaded triple A. started an AI game (1942 v. 5). Saved the game. Try to open saved game. click open saved game button. Menu opens and i select the saved game file. click open file. window closes, then nothing happens.

If I understand you correctly, you need to start the game afterwards just like you would when starting the game initially.

Sounds like it might be loaded (should display info in top left corner of interface if so), click on start local game and select your nation, then click play.
