Well I have spent the last three days of my spare time continuing work on GD.
After innumerable changes and alterations, I honestly believe I have completed the map to my satisfaction.
I will say it will probably not be the last of the revisions, but I think I have isolated all the areas of concern and addressed them to a point where I can see no major issues.
I shall recommence with some more updates in the coming days.

Well before I sink my teeth into the meat of the work, thought I'd quickly prep a shot of one of the turn 1 climaxes. The infamous attack on Pearl Harbour.
In an effort to limit my time spent on graphical details... this is a very quick version without a great deal of the flare.

Looks cool. Do the light blue sea lanes between convoy centers do anything? Or just art.

@redrum Ah cool, sounds like someone is gonna actually use the navalBase option. I was just chatting about that the other day. Should work nicely.
I'm thinking about working the navalBase into the Big World 3 map as well.

@general_zod Uh, I believe they will be implemented as canals but @Hepps would be the only one that really knows the details at this point

There is only 165 of the them... how much work can it possibly be?

Take a look at the navalBase territoryAttachment. Maybe you can get the functionality you need from that.
