Anyone had any trouble running the current stable on Catalina?

Catalina seems to break a lot of things and just wanted to be extra careful before upgrading since i'm in the middle of a game.

seems i might need to install it soon or i could be up a tree after apple closes the gate at least until oracle gets JRE notarized.

for anyone wondering about this i had no issues with the upgrade.
i did not have to re-install java so it might be trickier if you are under a fresh install.
