new players entering with multiple ghosts

i have noticed many new players entering the lobby with one, two, even three ghosts! does anybody know the reason for this?

my guess is they are trying to join games and don't have it down yet. Idk. It happened to me years ago when I first started playin on the lobby.I'm not update on current lobby stuff so take that for what you will : )
I think it was leaving and rejoining type thing. Not a deliberate one. Just trying to figure out who to be in the game and what not

@beelee well i am sure it isnt on purpose, it does appear to happen upon entering the lobby, not as much as entering a room.

Recently I've seen one that was in lobby 7 times over (the initial one and 6 additional ones). Asked what was that but got no answer.

Hmm...I would think you are one of the most familiar with the lobby. So is a new thing as Bullet said ?

Yea i doubt it is. I think when I did it (had 3 beelees) lol was when I kept joining the game to be a different player because i didn't know how to do it. it was 10 years ago or so. I can't really remember
