OK - he definitely asked before I did, so if there is only one slot left, he gets it. I can be an alternate if anyone drops out.
-
@Mogulrunnin Sounds good bro nothing is confirmed yet
-
@oppositeof I await your attempted assault on my undefeated tournament record that sits at 0-0
-
@calbears72 lol. Love it!

Are we still waiting for number 32? If so, sign me up please.

Nardawgg (Allies) beat Dirty_tirpitz (Axis+9)
Fun game, Japan had really bad luck in almost every fight costing them a lot of momentum and the allies squeezed Germany while keeping Russia safe. GG dirty

Just a short question.
bidding. What if both bids are the same? I guess the first one will get the axis, right? Didn`t found a rule for this case. -
@brxxx You should send one test Marti dice. Before you do, one of you is designated 1-3 and the other 4-6. Whoever wins, gets the first bid.
-
@bayder @prastle Hey guys. I can't figure out the username/password to play PBEM.
My opponent has started the game and sent me the first move. However, when I enter my "Login" and "Password" in the Play By Email section it gives me the error "unable to send email, check SMTP server credentials...Username and Password not accepted..."
It is the correct username and password for Marti dice, I have confirmed that twice (aaatangoromeo@gmail.com + correct password).
Any ideas what I am missing?
(Sorry, I haven't played PBEM since last year's tournament)
-
@TangoRomeo @prastle @bayder So, it's not the Martic Dice server I have a problem with, it's the Login and Password for Play By Email. Was there a default login and password assigned to the game that my opponent, @Handsome, and I are unaware of? Or is there actually a login and password? My opponent does not remember putting one in.
Sorry for the hassle, I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere that I haven't been able to find...
Hopefully this will only needed to be sorted out this once.
-
@TangoRomeo You should check your Port. In the help button right next to the box it is explained.
That was not my question. If the first bid and second bid are 9, then the first bid get the axis, right?
-
@brxxx Whoever wins the random bid process bids first. The other player either a) accepts that bid, or b) bids lower. They cannot bid the same. It goes back and forth until one person accepts the other's bid.

@TangoRomeo This only happens if you select the play by email as a provider vs. remaining disabled. I personally always leave this disabled. I can't recall for sure, but I think you can play a file where it's enabled without logging into it...you can still roll through MARTI and send the file manually.
-
@TangoRomeo @ubernaut @oppositeof Do either of you guy know how to solve this problem?
-
@TangoRomeo you need to have an account on the marti server there is no password it just needs to be a verified email. the password stuff is only if you want triplea to login to your gmail or triplea forum account.
-
@ubernaut So, my opponent sent me a file. I open it up in the "start PBEM game..." section. But then it asks me for a login and password in the Play by Email section. It won't let me "play" unless I enter that correctly. Did my opponent enter a login and password I don't know of?
-
@TangoRomeo did you select the disable menu item next to the provider?
-
@ubernaut No, should I? and just play that way?
-
@TangoRomeo yes as i just said that's only if you want triplea logging into your account i personally do not. Some people have dedicated email accounts for triplea in that case i see no reason why you wouldn't.
