Having trouble with PBF

Hey everyone, I'm new to this. I setup a PBF game with my friend, did it all correctly, with a test and all, took my turn one as Germany, and posted it into our forum. Then there is the highlighted blue "save game" file. I try to open that save file, but nothing happens, and I cannot choose "play" at the home screen to open that save file. I need help, please and thank you

yes, do I have to go into a specific type of game to be able to click play?

@benabbott1 no all save files are the same i think it does save some PBEM/F specific info in the save file but other than that picking the mode of play is independant. For instance, i am currently playing a game of TWW which is a game that often benefits/requires live play, and when you play this type of game you are usually opening the games locally to try to forecast the future a bit as well.
