Maximum Unit Size?

Does anyone know what the maximum unit size supported is? I recall somewhere a conversation about wanting to use 128x128 px units but that it wasn't supported yet, so I was wondering what is the maximum...

@Michael-Hoover I'm not aware there is a limit, or at least you can certainly have a working map with 128x128 px (Conquest of the World has 256x192 px units). How good they are supported is another matter you'll have to see yourself (they get cut in some places, like the battle window, after going above 48 pixels or a few more).

@Michael-Hoover If you want to have the unit images fit and be 100% visible in the current battle window they, should can be maximum 52 pixels high. As you can see in @Cernel s images, that is the height the huge units pictures displayed in the top of the battle window. They are cut in top and buttom and become 52 pixels hight and about 80 pixels wide.
Personally, when I make unit images, I go for maximum 54 high and approximately 90-100 max width. Naval vessels I let be wide up to maybe 120 if needed. But then I also manually set all the placement spots in the sea territories, and the spots then account for the 120 width, meaning that horizontally placements spots are further apart than the vertical.
Does it make sense?
