no more error codes will not load
-
thanks for everyones help so far, no more error codes however when placed in my downloaded files file it would allow me to select it as an option, will start to load then stop, ive tried converting it to a zip file so it would be like my other downloaded games but does not show up as an option.
any advice to get it working? -
sorry had it as a rar file now that it is zip it says map missing:could not join game would you like to download the map now?

@sammysleeth If you can upload your zip file then we can probably tell you why it isn't working.

@sammysleeth I just looked really quickly.... immediately I noticed your Folder naming is wrong and the XML is named XML.

@sammysleeth Here is a zip that at least attempts to load: 0_1499914072186_hudsonbay-master.zip. Make sure to rename the zip to hudsonbay-master.zip after you download it as the forum prefixes uploads.
It appears you are missing place data but you should get a useful error now that you can look to fix.
@Hepps Yeah the folder naming and map name in the XML didn't all line up. Though you can actually name the game XML file itself pretty much anything I think so xml.xml while not the best choice I believe should still work.

i think i see what you mean with map properties and place.txt have a size of zero, i am not sure what you mean by my folder naming is wrong. changed xml.xml to hudsonbay.xml anything else?

@sammysleeth As long as it loads and you see errors around missing placements then you are good. If you don't then I would suggest using the zip I uploaded. You can compare it to your zip if you want to see the differences that were fixed. Mostly renaming some of the folder names and properties to all line up.

@sammysleeth
I have learned that if you encounter that the map fails to load and there is no error pop-up, there is a big possibility of a graphical image name flaw. Double check your “flags” dir and see if all flags are present and that they have names that actually corresponds with the player list.
