I can now no longer enter into the lobby.

On attempting to log into the lobby I am met with the message, "This is not a nice name". My lobby name is spiral. How is this suddenly offensive. I have served a 24 hour ban. Has the ban been extended? If so, for what reason?
I did receive a message recently (some 48 hours after the topic was locked by Lafayette) from Kurt Godel posting a limited screenshot of my conversation with mortetvie and Kurt taking exception to my behavior. So I guess after I have served my ban we are going to re-dredge the issue again. After it was locked for discussion. Yet now it appears open for discussion, but only as a one way street, as I can not directly reply on that thread. Confusing. Also, why was an edited version, and not the not the entire interaction between mortetvie and myself not posted? Also, again, has my ban been extended? I was able to log in Sunday evening just fine after 24 hours. So why suddenly am I again not able to log in, and why is the name "spiral" not an acceptable name?
If you doubt my earlier statements regarding this moderator and want to have a discussion again, as appears the case, then let's have one and let's examine the entire issue. Let's not post elided clips that mis-characterize our exchange. That's just straight censorship. I have not been banned for any behavior in the past, have had no issues with other moderators and would like to know what is going on. Also, why can one side post on a locked topic and the other party then is left with no ability to reply save to begin a new thread? This seems unfair.

@dubstep I'm asking for background on why the username was put on the username blacklist. I suspect there was a mistake. I have removed the username from the blacklist and you can resume using it.
-
@dubstep i can only speak to the DM issue if another member of the forum is sending you DMs you don't like you should mute that person. they are not a mod here so his problem with you is between you and him.
i would add, however, to the chorus and say this game is based on WW2 which means we attract certain types which are not conducive to a good community so we have a necessarily added sensitivity to any subjects even remotely hinting in that direction we cannot afford as a community to let that kind of stuff grow here.

@lafayette Well I do appreciate this Laf. But there is something funny going on here with adjutication. Uber says Kurt is not a moderator but then how is he able to comment on a locked thread?
If he is a moderator, then why is he commenting on a locked thread anyway?
I served my ban. I have done some thinking to and would like to get this off my chest. The jokes I make regarding ex-members of the group that led Germany from 1933-1945 are meant as jokes. I am virulently anti-fascist and view these people as incredibly dangerous and unsavory. This is an obvious understatement. None of my posts can be taken as some sort of endorsement for this human blight of a regime. Only someone possessing zero critical thinking skills would make this assumption. However, since it seems going forward references by name to such members is now considered off limits, even if the jokes are meant to ultimately mock and not celebrate these people, then I will abide. You have my word.
But now I get emails into my inbox alerting me to comments made on a closed thread once again attacking me. And I am left with no ability to respond. This is galling. I served my ban. I was able to log on again Sunday.
Please do an investigation. Again, it seems like a petty vindictiveness is afoot. I was fully prepared to let this go, but if people continue to send me messages on a closed thread then we have a strong case of hypocrisy here.
I do hope you can understand the point I am attempting to make. If this topic is now going to once again feature comments, then both sides of the equation, and not just one, must be permitted to make a response.
Thank you for your time.

@ubernaut Uber, it is not a direct message. It is a post on a locked thread. It is dredging up an issue deemed closed by the mods themselves. And I have no ability to respond on the thread since it is locked.
-
@dubstep i'm sorry i was incorrect i checked our list before i sent that message but i guess he is a moderator so that would possibly explain why he could reply to locked thread although i'm not sure because i cannot maybe he replied before it was locked ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
@ubernaut It was locked by Laf on Sunday. Over 48 hours ago. Kurt posted a good 48 hours after the thread was locked.
-
@dubstep yeah just saw an internal message saying moderators could do that but i thought i couldn't maybe there's an extra step or something i swear i didn't the reply button on that one when i saw it the other day
-
@ubernaut Okay. Well thank you for the reply. My issue here is that if a thread is locked then why are moderators going on and commenting, knowing full well that a response by the other party is not possible? Also, the post of our exchange that Kurt showed was edited and did not show the entire dialogue. So there are really two new issues here.
But it seems to me, if a topic is locked for discussion, then it should apply to all parties.
-
@dubstep I'd agree if a topic is locked it should stay that way. I've opened an internal message with moderators asking them to be more mindful of this.
