@thedog It is better to put the game notes directly in the file, rather than a reference to a png file.
-
@rogercooper
Why?
From my point of view;- no mark-up or formatting issuing
- it does not clog up the xml with text that cannot read
- it works in game
- I can just paste the png on this forum and they are read as intended
- it can hold other images and is rendered as intended
-
@thedog In version 2.6, the notes are a separate file.
Forum posts don't last forever, TripleA has changed forum providers in the past.
-
@thedog I can't get this game to start, it says it can't find the map, the folder name is Roman invasion 2 but in the games list it is Britannia Roman invasion. ,,,???
-
@ted-self
Oh yes, for 2.6 it does not work, the map.yml is broke.Delete your current version/folder and download again, I have updated the 1st post download.
Open the zip file and copy the folder roman_invasion2 to your downloadedMaps folder.
Hopefully it should work now.

@thedog Thank you, I have a question if you don't mind. Is there a way to create a unit that can only be purchased one time? Like I want to create a unit called Richard (he is a general) and I want only one tribe (whoever buys him first) to be able to buy him. Once he is killed that is it, he is dead forever.
-
Yes, probably
Richard is in every tribes purchase frontier.
When he is placed on the map a trigger removes him from everyone's frontier, meaning he cannot be purchased again. -
@thedog Thank you. One more crazy question, there are 6 tribes but I want one of them to not come into play until round 25. Is there a way to do it?
-
Rounds 1-24, no TT owned, no units on the map.
Then round 25, place them on the map.To me it does not sound a good idea, as players will avoid the new nations territory, knowing they will appear. The AI will not have a clue. But ...
