With work on GD progressing steadily and the rerelease of TWW with the new stable... I thought I would post my remaining requests for new features.

Suicide unit which is only destroyed if it registers a hit. (I know this one has already been stated).

"Is Stealth" (ie. a submerge or hide ability) available for land units.

"Unit turns into when damaged" ability for a multi hit unit to change into another unit when it sustains damage.
Not trying to pressure anyone.... just wanted to put these out there in one spot so that if the implementation of one is easier than the others it might be possible to accomplish quickly.
As always, I appreciate the ongoing efforts of, and the challenges facing the developers. I know requests such as these may not be a priority based on the things you guys are working on.

@hepps Few questions on 2 & 3.
"Is Stealth" (ie. a submerge or hide ability) available for land units.
- There are a lot of different sub rules around when subs can submerge, first strike, hit by air, block movement, etc. Are you just looking at the "submerge" part and if so, thoughts on when (before any combat rolls, after first round of combat, etc)?
- Does their need to be an "isDestroyer" type land unit to cancel the ability out?
- Can you talk through how you are planning to initially use the functionality in GD?

Would be ideal if all of the current naval attributes could be replicated on land. With the same ability to select those attributes you want to use.

Yes.

Yes. I have 2 unit designs which would be implemented immediately.
The Partisan and the Guerrilla. Units which can "submerge/Hide" within a territory. Can decide whether to stay and fight or hide. Is forced to remain in battle if an opposing Command unit is present and can then be targeted by Air with it present. It would also have a first strike vs other specific units.

4. When should it change into another unit? As soon as it is hit (mid-battle)? After battle if it survives?Immediate transformation during combat. On Defence obviously immediately after its current return volley.

There are a variety of ways I intend to use it... the easiest to use as an example would be the Battleship.
BB is a 3 hit unit.
Undamaged....Att. 8 / Def. 8 / Mv. 4 / x2 Bombard
1 damage... Att. 6 / Def. 6 / Mv. 2 / x2 Bombard
2 damage... Att. 4 / Def 4 / Mv. 1 / x1 Bombard
(sorry for those unfamiliar with my anarchist behaviors... this is based on a D12 system)

It would be cool if it also could transform after a determined number of hits and also maybe after battle, if it survives.
But I guess the "easy" and most simple to implement "Unit turns into when damaged" is immediately when hit one time. Such an addition would also be great

@frostion Yah that is the idea. In my example the BB would actually change twice...
Unit starts as a BB
Turns into BBdamaged
Then turns into BBhvydamaged
This idea could be used in other ways as well for something like a production facilities which could have far more hit points... like 16 HP changes to a lower producing version with 8 or more damage.
