Reserve Units Tab

It would be nice if there was a tab (say to the right of the notes tab) that allows you to quickly refresh your memory regarding the units bought during the purchase phase.
This would be particularly helpful during the movement phase, (especially for those of us without super good memory). Knowing what to keep in a territory with a factory, (or other production facility) and what can be safely moved elsewhere, is often quite critical.
So, having such a tab would really be nice. Perhaps not even a tab, but a separate window that's always there? Such a window (if designed properly) might even resolve the over purchasing issue. That, however, will probably lead to a lot of discussion; as I can imagine a lot of potential ideas that such a window could offer.
I just know that having to open up the history to refresh my memory is a real pain; especially since said purchases are all in a line that can get extremely long...

@stohrm Yeah, this has been brought up a number of times and hopefully gets added some day. One thing you can do is move purchase phase later in the turn as many maps do now to minimize the gap of when you buy units and place them.
EDIT: I've added it to the feature list as well.

@redrum Sadly, moving the purchase phase to later in the round is almost a cheat (in my opinion mind you). I believe it was put at the start of the round for a very specific and strategic reason; as you don't know how things are going to go.
So, you buy things with a certain strategy in mind. But, things may not go your way and now you wish you'd bought something else. Ah, but there's the Rub, eh?
In addition, I believe (again in my opinion and understanding of the original concept) that buying at the beginning of the round also represents the time it takes to produce said units.
That's one of the things I was getting at that the computer version of the game has over the board game itself; some of the rules and/or concept changes are easier to implement.
Think about it (and this is why I said " I can imagine a lot of potential ideas that such a window could offer") and imagine if it took multiple turns to produce certain units (especially a Battleship and/or an AirCraftCarrier).
That's not really all that easy, as the game stands now. But, add that window and it becomes more of a probability than just a possibility.
Just saying; as my mind never sleeps.

@stohrm Hi Stohrm
you can do your combat moves then buy then do combat so the combat outcome is still unknown before you purchase -

What about 'history mode'? I am sometimes using this during movement in case I need a reminder.

Yes that works @ panther but I do understand his point. It is a bit of a chore that way even tho we have done it that way for years. If it could be added easily it would be a nice feature.
-
@prastle I was not voting against this feature... just pointing out an alternative, that not everyone is aware of.

And yes, it's been a while since I last checked in - the holidays and such.
