Well with all of the changes now in effect I am wrapping up the final touches to the re-release of 2.8.0.3

The newest release will include the new territory images and resource icons. So players will have to up-grade their engine version to 1.9.0.0.9464 in order to take full advantage of these improvements.

Want to thank @redrum for all these cool additions. The in-game experience has improved substantially and has such a finished look and the resource changes mark a new era in future game development.

I'm very willing to play to the 2.8 version of TWW, when the new release will be available on triple A site?
Another (layman) question: is there any possibility in TWW to play with "Edit Mode"?

When the 2.8.0.3 release will be available? I usually play with 2.7, but I like the 2.8 BETA, but I got some errors when running it. So I wait for the official release of 2.8 (NOT BETA) to play with that. When will it come?

I would like to test some strategies in TWW 2.8, using the "Game/Edit Mode" to move units freely. Is that possible and how?

I am working on the final corrections to the game manual and notes right now. With any luck it will be available for down load later today.

2.8.0.3 will still be a BETA since all of the game changes are still being tested for overall balance.

The errors you are receiving are almost certainly because you are using an engine that does not include features necessary to play it.

I recommend you follow this link and update you engine to one of the latest pre-releases....

This will allow you to play without any errors.

@oigroig78 Welcome to the TWW cult! As @Hepps mentioned you most likely just need to download a pre-release version of the TripleA engine as TWW 2.8 uses some new features that aren't in the official download yet.

And yes you can use Edit Mode for any map to test things out or often times players use it to correct a mistake. Here is a screenshot that shows the "Enable Edit Mode" option at the top:

Thanks for your welcome, I downloaded the pre-release and playing with that now, but still not able to activate the "edit mode". The menu command is not activable (I'm a Mac user). Do you know how to fix?

@oigroig78 Strange. Can you post a screenshot like the one I have above? Are you able to see the Edit Mode option but nothing happens when you click it?

The new version is now available via the Triple A Download Maps.

Bear in mind you will need to delete the old version if you already have it installed before the new one will appear in the list.

@hepps Actually it should download over the old version. It will appear in the install list if you don't have it already or had a manual copied in version. Otherwise it should appear in the update list.

@prastle That's correct sir, you don't have sufficient tech tokens at this time. You'll need to purchase a new ticket to load 2 panzers.
