Description An imperfect port of the Axis & Allies 1914 boardgame

- Plays pretty fast
- Unlike the boardgame, you have enough pieces to play
Bad Points
- One important rule is not handled, in TripleA combat is mandatory, in AA14, combat is voluntary
- With all land units moving at speed 1 and only builds in the capital, the game is rather slow.
- The Russian revolution rule is not implemented
- Unlimited British builds in India unbalance the game, just like in the boardgame

Now TripleA handles this with the option "canBeMovedThroughByEnemies". You can also retreat staying on the same territory. However, this is not enough here; just saying in general that combat is not anymore always mandatory for land units, as now they can be submarines too. The general option for sea units (not only submarines) of not creating combat in a sea zone has already existed since a few years, also.

@Cernel It may be worthwhile to update the scenario once the new properties are documented. On the other hand, the OOB version of AA14 is not a good game. Something along the lines of Larry Harris rules need to be implemented.
To really make WW1 games work you need the ability to have a separate non-combat move speed (and be supported by the AI).

@Lord-Bevan My problem with the Great War map is West Front insert. This has the effect of making the shortest route between France & Germany going by way of Italy & Austria, making for odd-looking game-play.

i meant great war ultimate is broken, you need to update it.
also lebowski 1915 needs a little bug fix. americans need cavalary unit to be able to play. lots of players cannot buy factories.

I meant Great war ultimate which i cannot find anywhere now.
It has a lot of special units for Germany and sea zone worth like 32PU> -
