can you move the scroll bar to the top of the error message in git ?

When i look at the errors i have to scroll to the bottom to scroll sideways and then back up to read it. Then back down to scroll back and then back up.

Anybody know of a more efficient way to do this ?

I am not sure I understand what you ask for.

Are you addressing something concerning the git-client / software?
Or are you talking about something on the Github-platform?

Maybe share an example?

@panther yea so on git when i look at the error I usually get something like this

then I have to scroll down to the bottom so I can scoll sideways

then scroll back to the top to finish reading the line

then scroll back down to scroll back sideways and scroll backup to get to the start of the second line.

I don't really know what most of these errors are anyway, I just kinda look for keywords, but it's not a very smooth process for me

@beelee ok I guess the arrow keys actually do work. I guess you have to click on the error before they do. That only took a few years to figure out lol

Yes, that's it.

I was just irritated a bit, when you said "git" but meant "Github". All good.
