      @trout OK so just FYI as I finished my last turn I saw that I clicked done and placed... and then realized that I had not moved a AA gun.

      I guess I should have just told T to move it for me. Instead I turned on the editor but that would not work.

      So I went to the history and saved the game at that placement point, then reloaded that game, and was able to move the AA gun with the editor...

      Then I saved the gave, and sent it to T

      But then I noticed that there were 2 tanks in Urals which should only be 1.

      And in my play testing I too noticed that there were NO RUSSIAN TANK GENERAL units to buy ; those $8 ones.

      I also noticed that I could buy the new MOBILE ARTILLERY units !!! But now I cannot and do not see them.

        Somehow G3 must have got corrupted. I went back to the F save and clicked through to R 3 and the TG is there.

        I'll try and reproduce Cat's turn when I get back from the store. I can't see why the trigger to buy the TG didn't fire but I'll continue to look at it.

        For now, use the F 2 save and redo G3.

            @trout I took @beelee 's advice and just redid turn 3.

            We are so early in this game that redoing the turn was trivial. No combat...

            This "Trade with Russia" is nice so no DOW this turn. I was so overwhelmed by our first games I did not have the attention span to figure out all those IPC deals/bonuses/awards/penalties and this game I am putting some effort into that because the "Money is Everything" principle probably applies here.

            And my new Plan for Italy centered on that principle as you can see. I am sure there are plenty of ways to counter that Italy-Takes-Paris move but so far it looks like a great way to get Italy to get into the game in a bigger way than usual.

                Well that was a costly turn for me. I lost 2 planes and had to choose - fighter or tank...
                Caught me totally by surprise. Well sort of...

                  @johnnycat Hello there. I have not opened the file but am going to guess that you will need to redo your J4. Those Commies that rolled into Yunnan were the 1st Commissar Army so if you do still attack, you should lose a lot more than two planes unless you get the lucky dice of course

                      @trout so in my simulations I did not give you extra rolls. But I still easily wiped out the stack so I guess I might lose at most another two planes.

                      Good catch. Of course they werenโ€™t in their little special units so I forget all about that.

                      I truly love this game but I doubt many more people will learn to play it.

                        @johnnycat I think you just need to send the Commissar to his box on top of the map and replace him with an activated Commissar using Edit Mode before you roll dice. If you donโ€™t know which one is an activated one then hover your mouse over them until you find the ones that say they provide the extra dice rolls. For your war planning, the Commie Army should roll 5 โ€œ3sโ€ and 1 โ€œ2โ€.

                          could you send me the file with it set up? Or photos of what to do?

                          There are commissars all over the top bar - some can be moved but I have no idea what to do to get it to work.

                          Maybe if you show me what I am trying to do - with the correct units in that territory the game will roll correctly?

                            So the game appears to have given your 19 units 21 defense rolls.

                            But I am not good enough to read this table and know much more than that.

                            So did I do it right this time? I still lost 2 planes but whatever. I just want to ensure I did it correctly .

                              That looks correct. An extra roll for the Commisar and 1 for the Tank adds up to 21

                                But I have no idea now what was to be expected. I guess the normal TripleA battle computer does not work or would it? I did not even check, I just rolled the battle and saw that there were 21 defense rolls.

                                    Yea the battle calc isn't a 100 %

                                    Something got corrupted in your G3 save. I couldn't find where it happened.

                                    You said you did a save from History ? maybe ? If so that coulda been the culprit as History saves are kinda scketch/delicate.

                                    You can also go to auto save and restart a game from there. There will be a lot to sort through but ๐Ÿ™‚ ... yea Idk maybe I misunderstood what happened.

                                    At any rate, I couldn't find any reason why it went wrong.

                                        yea so in case you didn't know, always save at start of turn, for the History save. Also it might double produce income. I only use it as a test but auto save better way to go .

                                        You should git hub some of your skills and improve it ๐Ÿ™‚

                                            A couple days ago our wonderful Emperor Hirohito, who is of God himself, was told by our scouts of a very odd thing that occurred in the China territory of Szechwan (where wonderful spicy food comes from).

                                            According to the scouts, China and the Evil Commies colluded to clearly do something evil.

                                            They collected all their major units, including those Nasty Flying Tigers and some new and VERY SCARY Communists with advanced armor (they actually use radios) together in the territory and they started making signs.

                                            The scout said that all sorts of signs were being made and put up on billboards, and signs on vehicles and it appeared that each individual soldier also put large signs on their backs!

                                            Written in Russian and Chinese the signs appeared to say, "AIM EVERYTHING HERE"

                                            So after some consideration our wise and powerful Emperor told General Hideki Tojo to "give them what they want."
