@ebbe game gives error while trying to play
also noticed you did not use any of my unit images I made, will redo as you changed symbols on units and will send with wetransfer
-
@JOSEPH-PRINCE
I think that's everything in the game. If there is anything else just let me know.
-
thank you, will use flags
-
@ebbe & @JOSEPH-PRINCE I was looking at the winter units and the small snowflake seems quite "muddy" as an image... so I made a new one for you guys...
Feel free to use it if you want.
Before...
After...
-
@Hepps thanks for all the Roundels! they look very nice.. and yes finally a map with true country flgs... the Snow symbol I ahd allreay solved , see last update... the blurry one was temp....
-
@JOSEPH-PRINCE: hej man, yes really nice you make all those units on own initiave... I used the Light armour fot the free french.... besides I also receive units from other people and make my own, so I have to choose & cannot involve all the units you supply ... but I do really appreciate..... But for now my focus will be more on fixing the intro screen issues, adding texture to land territories, adding Hepps roundels to all exisiting units and fix a very good suggestion from Hepps to change country labels appearance, this all will take a little time...
after, I hope half feb I will put the Map on Github to get a more diverse feedback... and will start a SHOGUN-SENGUKO project kick off..... thanks for the bug reporting: I never saw it before : when did it happen and did it crash or freeze the game? -

I hope it will be a FFA or anyways a more-than-two-sides game. I think TripleA has too few of those, and I dislike most of them.
-
@Cernel Definately FFA!! Shogun sengoku era is inspiring setting ... i like Rolf Larsons Feudal Japan maps mechanics from 2017 (i try to contact him) and think there might be more possible....i did lot of work making a boardgame version that i did lot of research work on: like common routes/roads, mountain ranges and mountain passages, volcanoe positions, more and less developed areas and Clans connections and positioning. and Will add a bonus system of Goods to achieve monopoly on , and still haven't ruled out a fog of war system... Anyway kickoff around half feb. on its own thread.... support is welcome
-
@ebbe I think I forgot a few...
These four changes represent the flags of the countries prior to occupation by Axis powers or their actual national flag as of 1941.
-
@ebbe And just to be thorough...
I personally like the rising sun flag... but since you have used the national flag for every other country (excluding of course the much maligned swastika)... I thought you might want these just in case you want to stay consistent.
-
-
As much as I think that the State flags are the best, I would rather use the armed forces emblems because of the annoyance of being otherwise obliged to make up a silly German flag in order not to show the swastika. On the upside, emblems usually fit better on roundels.
Anyway, the rising sun flag is neither a State flag nor a military emblem, which are both about the same for Japan but for the emblem having a relatively much bigger red circle.
-
@Cernel Yes... I agree, it is confusing for me the first day since I started playing Axis Allies boardgame as a kid.... somehow I notice , besides being consistent or historically as coorect as possible, one gets allways fast used to it... whatever option is choosen, and about correctness: yes.. acually the Russians player should be called Soviet... and so .. the reason I stick to the German red -balck and Japanese Sun is mostly I think a issue of nostalgia A& A gaming... the reason for the post >1967 Canadian flag is simply because I am stubborn and I cannot swap this beautiful flag to the apprropriate one...
-
@Hepps Heeeej, okej.... Hepps.... the start of resizing, I like the result... and I do listen to good advice new UK roundels yours and resized / more shaded territory banners.... leaves some space for the eye and brain indeed....
-
@ebbe As requested...
-
@Hepps really smooth and superb again sculpting master! thanks! he looks even very rebellious...
here my attempt for Caucasian (Chechnian) partisan unit
-
@ebbe Is that supposed to be a ushanka-hat
-
@ebbe Just as an idea from play testing... here is an example of an infantry looking different from the garrison unit...
