Encirclement

What are some good ways to represent the disadvantages of being encircled in the current engine?

@Schulz you could have a condition for each territory if their surrounding territories were controlled by their opponent that it triggered a negative PU objective.
It'd be a lot of work but seems as if it'd work.

@beelee This is definitely doable see Big World:1942 - Logistics Mod.
You would create a large number of events (you can use Excel to make it easier) which trigger if enemy units are in specified territories. Have it destroy the units at the end of the owning player turn (to give them a chance to breakout). You have to specify the number of units to removed, TripleA does not support things like removing half the units. You could also have it place an enemy unit that attacks to reflect supply shortages.

@RogerCooper You cannot remove half the units but you could do the same condition where if there are no allied territories ajacent to the territory then you could trigger a terrain modifier ( called encirclement) that adversely affects all defending units.
On the down-side... this would have to be done for every territory on the map times every player.

@Hepps You could place a hostile munitions type unit that targets all units in the territory with a 50% chance of hitting on an AA type of attack.
