💥 1941 Global Command Decision - Official Thread

Roger all that.
I have not seen substantive changes in AI play whether the Fast AI or the Hard AI is employed.
On another consideration, I understand that the game can and should be able to morph from the reality of WWII. However, the AI devotes too many USSR resources to defending their eastern flank against Japan at the expense of counterattacking against the Nazis. I have gone so far as to remove factories from east of the Urals and creating a near impassable neutral zone with limited success
.Still Russia defends their eastern borders as the Nazis close on Moscow.
May I suggest that Lend/Lease be active immediately for the USA to provide military resources to the USSR. It would also give the USA something to do besides occupying the eastern Pacific.
Finally, I have made changes to first round of the game to help entice the AI to attack Western Europe and Northwestern Africa.
. Naturally I have changed relationships so all major combatants can attack the neutrals.These thoughts and suggestions are offered humbly and are in no way critical of your game. I have waited a long time for something as elegant and sophisticated as GCD.

All 4 Lend-Lease-Depots are active from turn 1. The USA gives 20pu per turn to USSR whilst Vladivostok is USSR, this is automatic.
Other changes you could make are (line 6764)

remove 8pu, change it 9puand (line 6790)
<option name="placement" value="Baku-Azerbaijan:Armor-Med"/>ALthough the 2 Armour-Med is minor it forces resources nearer the west and not the east.

v235- All 2HP, Armor-Inf, Armor-Hvy Battleship, Carrier, Carrier-Fleet all cost 2pu for Upkeep/turn, was 1pu (Forgot to do this
) - New Infrastructure called Factory add 3pu/turn/Factory can stack upto 2 per TT with Industry-Med or Industry-Hvy
This is to simulate increases in production as the war progressed, as they cost 9pu, that gives ROI after 3 turns. (Can you afford the opportunity Cost?) - Manual p6-7 been updated with above

v240- Cruiser 7pu was 8
- Battleship 15pu was 18
- Carrier-Fleet 16pu was 18
- Submarines cannot target Submarines
- Chinese Themed reinforcements Inf-Trained x3, was Inf-Conscript x1 & Inf-Trained x2
- China had a massive population and these are Conscripts through battle attrition who are now Trained
War Bonds - Game Options has 2 new tick boxes
War Bonds bonus to all AI Allies
War Bonds bonus to all AI Axis
If you are a veteran player and like playing Axis then for a harder game tick War Bonds bonus to all AI Allies, this will give 2d6pu to each of the 5 Allied nations/turn - Removed Factory added last version , these unbalanced the AI, too in favour of the Allies. (code commented out)

Someone has recently posted a problem on GitHub, its anonymous, with an old version of TripleA.
Only newer versions will be fixed as the the Devs will say upgrade and test again.As a minimum Players should upgrade to;
Last version that centers on the active player's capital

This TripleA ENGINE VERSION is always getting me into trouble.I have been immersed in G40 EXP with boxes The Captain's Expansion so I can play in their upcoming Fall Denmark tourney...
But I tried your game again, the 1941 GCD, because I recall having a nice time with it a year ago - and yea, I had tons of werid behavior but not sure if I reported anything.
So @beelee and @trout and others all tell me to get the latest version and I keep thinking I have that. But now my number 2.7.14962 is different from your 2.715025....2.715256.
How often do these things change?
HOW DO WE KNOW what is the latest version?
THIS IS VERY CONFUSING.
Is there a way to get us all to EASILY SEE what is what?
SUGGESTION: Could we get the TripleA launch screen (my uploaded image) to check some standard site location for the latest version and then advise the player IN BIG RED LETTERS: something like, "Please upgrade to very 2.89xxx at URL://blah blah"

I just installed the newest TripleA_2.7+15256_macos.dmg
And started your game - and my compliments on the many improvements !!!
But here is the problem that I kept getting. A few days ago each German turn would present a couple dozen of these windows. Today only got one but only just started a new game.
Is this NORMAL? Is this some tech thing?

I was going to suggest upgrading to that version 2.7.15256That is the version I am currently using.
As 2.7 is a pre-release it is up to the player themselves to choose what version they use.
But to help you decide, go here, as I will suggest a few versions that I view as decent and worth the effort to upgrade to.

That is not an error, it is a notification, to turn it off, do this in game.To reduced failure notices Game> User Notification> Show Trigger/condition Chance Roll Failure (UnTick)

- Sea Zone PU x190 positioning to left of the Convoy/owner flag
- Kamikaze-Plane can only placed with Industry-Hvy, so only Japan, did * include Industry-Med
- Kamikaze unitsNotAllowed to fly over 28 East Asia land territories to encourage AI to use them verses ships, uses a terrain effect called "no-asia"
- Kamikaze canNotTarget Destroyers removed as it does target Destroyers
- War Bonds now with 1 Tech, now 4d4, was 2x Techs with 1d6 each
- Manual has been updated with above

v255- Stacking of Artillery & Anti-Tank, Armor-Lgt & Med 10s, Armor-Inf & Armor-Hvy 5s
- To summarise stacking Infantry 20s, non-Infantry(& Aircraft & Ships) 10s, except 2 Hit units (Armor-Hvy & Carriers) 5s
- HQ rings, now have a faction color ring, especially helpful for Fleet-HQ, thanks Oztea on Reddit & Black_Elk
