Hej there map-making-heroes and code-wizards; I am looking for players that would like to test the Shogun Advanced map , before finally uploading it... with testing I mean: just play a few rounds
and come with feedback on: gameplay, map, game features , graphics , sounds... whatever, as a fresh objective look brings often the best input! give me a sign and I send you the map... would be very appreciated!

Hi Ebbe yes count me in.
I've played a few rounds, sometimes as 'Otomo'. One thing I've noticed is that at the start I'm given both 'harbour' and 'market' but don't have a place to put the 'market' and will lose this unit. Maybe a quick check to see if both units can be placed, if not then give 2 units that can be placed.
Speaking of placement, there are a lot of restrictions on units and where they can be placed. Some restrictions are easy to understand, city/square territories by water etc..., others not so much. Maybe change option 'Unplaced units live when not placed' editable value to 'true' with a note in the 'Notes' html stating that this could be changed to help while learning.
This game feels both familiar and different from the standard TripleA maps. I applaud both you and @TheDog in your efforts.

@wc_sumpton thanks for your feedback, indeed you mention the case of inland market unit that sometimes cannot be placed: I explain the idea behind it ( and see how I can fix it maybe in better way)
so, as AI is not very interested at all in constructing buildings it seems, it might create some income disballance later in the game.
As the extra (non-home ground) territories are randomly rewarded at game start, and a inland market cannot be placed at coastal terr. and opposite.. the siutation occurs that one might be given a inland market where , after distribution of all terr's , one didnot receive any inland terr's . Hmmm okey I see how to tackle this....
Your suggestion to "keep" unplace units messes up my "Slain Daimyo"- succession, where AI sometimes doesnot place the successor directly and I cannot somehow count/check if there are Unplaced Successor Daimyo's to the next round, so ending up with multiple Daimyo's following turns.. one can have only have 1 captain on the ship haha...
anyway: I think about another way to tacjkle your input... thanks!

- Should change your version to Version 2.1
- <connection t1="East China Sea 3" t2="Kagoshima"/> is not a valid connection
- East China Sea 3 has Kobaya which is not possible to be in deep sea
- Line 1980ish Construction as a resource is missing
- Politics phase needs to go in each Clan phase, so when playing PvP its just one session, as Matt suggestion
Using TripleA-2.6+14473 in each test game I get this below, sadly this is a first for me, so cannot offer any suggestions and I cannot make it repeat.
