Old versions of IDEA archived?
-
Hello-
Looking into seeing if I can contribute anything I started the process to figure out how to compile the code. The recommended setup says to install IDEA, but these directions are now outdated. The github notes say that two versions are available, but this is now no longer the case. When you try to download it only one version is available and you can only use it free for a 30-day trial. The non-free version is cost prohibitive to me (especially since it's a yearly, not one-off, fee) so I was hoping somebody might still have the install package for an older version that won't be time-limited. If so it might be good to add it to the repository so others can get it too.If there is no such installer available I'll have to try using Eclipse since it won't be worth it doing anything with a tool I can only use for 30 days.

Hi @eqqman
You might want to ask at git with a new issue. https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/issues
I would ping asvitkine and DanVanAtta in it. They seem to be the two most recent active developers.

The "IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition" is still free from jetbrains web site
Hope this is helpful!
Cheers...
