Worth separating maps from game engine. The main download: "https://triplea-game.org/download/", now always points to the latest release. Every code push creates a new latest release. The most up to date version is always the version available from the main download.

The Triple AI has has some tweaks over the past couple of years, but it is really up to the map maker to squeeze the most out of the AI.See here if you fancy improving your favoured map.
