@Frostion Nice additions frostion looks great any thoughts on the links section?

I was thinking of making the link section look better. I will have to surf the web and investigate what options there are. Also, do you know why there is code like the following placed in the “Draft Zone” (of https://forums.triplea-game.org/admin/extend/widgets ) that is not showing up? At least not when I look at the website:

Maybe there are some flaws in the code? Or a bug in NodeBB? Did you write this copyright stuff?

I would ignore that and look at the categories section and maybe drag and drop in the news section and write the links maybe?

If we don't have a lot of news we can pull from the Announcements category? Or hide the Announcements category to Admin Only so it just shows as news?

There is now added a chat box on the main page. Does it work for anyone else but me? It should only be viewable by registered users. And only last 25 postings should be viewable.

@Frostion Hmm...didn't see one. Just the stuff off to the right with your post on top.

Did you move the links ? If so, I think they're fine where they're at but the axis and allies board games one should be changed to axis and allies.org. It confused me for a moment

@Frostion I like the new Banner Looks pretty cool. Did the default change ? I got a white looking one . I'm on "Darkly" now. Like the greenish added to names etc...

@beelee yes all can change their skin to what they wish or use default

Yes the default has changed. The look of the forum is now white and bright. The new blueish banner is primarily colored and designed to fit the new white look. This is practical when we have to show unit pictures or other art stuff to each other here on the forum. Also it looks a lot like the style og Github and the TripleA Website. But of course users are always free to change their personal skin. This is how the default looks like:

@prastle I don’t know why we don’t see the same, but sometimes I have had to log out and clear internet browser temporary files to get to see the changes I made. Or maybe try refreshing browser?

@Frostion yea I'm not gettin the blue banner either. I find my default doesn't save unless I leave and come back.

Well just came back and it was on default. I saved to Darkly though and it stayed on it, which it didn't do before.

@Frostion @RoiEX One thing it would be nice to change is the appearance of the avatar in the recent topics on home page. Atm it shows the avatar of the topic opener. It would be better if the avatar of the last poster in a topic was shown. Ideas?

@prastle I don’t think this is possible, or at least not to my knowledge. I think this NodeBB forum software works like the work with the TripleA engine, so maybe issues and requests is supposed to be posted here:

A question: Is this forums software always up to date? Do we need to update somehow if the developers implement new options? (I am not talking about the forum plugins, as they clearly can be updated manually some times. I updated three just the other day, so now 0 is “out of date”.)

the nodebb asks for an update in dashboard and in the plugins
roi has asked for some fixes in the nodebb forum

@prastle Didn't even notice that the update was released... I will update the forum Software tomorrow, which will enable us to implement the fully working PBF feature...

@Frostion The nodeBB software needs to be updated manually... I'm basically logging into the server and running sudo service nodebb stop && sudo git pull && sudo nodebb upgrade && sudo service nodebb start which will bring the nodebb software to the latest version...

Nice Another question: I added an e-mail link in the bottom of the category list / start page. I thought if someone not engaged with the TripleA community visited this website and wanted to contact us, then they could contact via this email. Is this the email adress we should link to? Or is there another?
