      Copy paste the error code here or on GitHub.

            @rmcdud Does the game actually crash? Or does it just show the error message that you can then close? Also what version are you using? I play all the time offline (like on an airplane) and just see a message popup indicating I don't have internet connectivity but I can still play.

                    Game runs perfectly if there is an internet connection.

                      @rmcdud
                      So please - when connected with the internet - do as follows:

                      • Start TripleA
                      • Start a Local Game
                      • When the game has started find the Menu Debug and then click Show Console
                      • When the Console has opened, click the button Properties
                      • Then click Copy to Clipboard
                      • Paste in this thread

                      Thank you.

                        @RmcDud Any chance you tried to rename your PC at any point or something?
                        Because the client tries to resolve lenovo-shezbit-n585 and fails doing so.
                        I'd guess executing ping lenovo-shezbit-n585 in cmd/bash will result in an error as well.

                            @rmcdud

                            From the line
                            java.home=/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64/jre
                            I see that you are not using JRE from java.com.

                            IIRC openjdk is not fully compatible with TripleA, so I recommend that you try Java from java.com instead.

                            Please report back if this resolves your issue.

                                @RmcDud I think I know how to fix your issue (although I don't know what might've caused it):
                                Could you post the content of your /etc/hosts file (or execute cat /etc/hosts in the terminal depending on what you prefer) and post the content here?
                                Adding or modifying a single line in this file could already fix your issue.
