@hepps If I understand it correctly, this would be a way to show original ownership, that is a feature lacking in TripleA. However, if so, showing original ownership with the roundel and current ownership with the colour would be the opposite of what a known boardgame does (in that, of course, the colours on the board don't change, and you put a roundel to tell current ownership).

@cernel Would be a variation based on what is easily achievable with the way the engine works.
It is also possible to make the territories have no colouration and use a roundel as a permanent unit in every territory that changes on capture (exactly what TWW does with the flags) but history has shown us that people get very confused on Triple A when territories donèt change colour.

@beelee Post the map folder here... or send it to me via email. I'm sure I can find the issue.

@beelee After looking at your screen shot I think you have the PU folder mislabeled. It appears as thought the #'s in your pic are the engine generated numbers that are rendered when there is no PU image folder. Check the folder name... and compare it to another map.... remember that the name for the folder is case sensitive.

@hepps here's the game zip and here's the PU folders. Thought i could just add the new one ( named it PUs before i put it in ) and would work. Unfortunately no go.

@beelee Look at what the actual PU images are named as.
If you are copying the images from the forum you have to rename them when you paste them into the folder.
right now the 20 PU image is labelled...

It (and all the rest of them) need to be renamed...
20.png (of course each one has to be renamed the appropriate #, not 20)

@beelee And you are not adding the second folder... you are deleting the original PUs folder and replacing it with your new folder that HAS TO BE NAMED PUs (exact same as the original)

@wc_sumpton You need to see them in direct comparison on the map.
The new set has a darker outline that will match the new unit Stack #'s more closely.

@Hepps Is it ok for me to use the land and sea patterns from your work on the Middle Earth - Battle For Arda. If so can I bother you to post samples here. To be clear not terrain patterns although they are nice. Just the main background patterns (texture and waves).
