It was an easy decision for Ents they take years to grow, so not buildable.

But the nine, got new forms after the the magic surf of the river Bruinen "damagaed" them.
Gandalf the Grey got a new form as Gandalf the White.

So you could say they are buildable, but in this scenario/version you can only build 1.

Having played many games I have never managed to kill all 9 Nazgul, just so I can build another one,
Likewise for the Elven Wizards/Istari, however the AI has killed them all off, so does build one of them.

Those sorts of incidents should be handled as events. Take a look at Greyhawk Wars for a fantasy scenario that feels like a fantasy scenario.

I also like upkeep costs.

I tried the playing the scenario. Balance seems better and the production restrictions make the game feel more like Middle Earth.

I needed to modify the files a bit, to play under the latest version of the engine. You should your map.yml file to

map_name: middle_earth
games:
- {game_name: 'Lord of the Rings: Middle Earth-Rebalanced', file_name: Lord_of_the_Rings_War_of_the_Ring.xml}

Interesting that you decided to make the dwarfs not be able to purchase artillery/zeppelins/berzerkers. Is it to balance the game or is the other version updated

The books dont have black powder artillery/zeppelins/berzerkers that was the reason for removing them.

@board-3659 It has been a long time since I saw the movie, but I don't remember anything like those. My best guess is that is taken from Warhammer Fantasy. Also goblins and orks are two names for the same thing in the Lord of the Rings, so the fact that they are differentiated in that game has to come from somewhere else, like Warhammer Fantasy, too.

Or maybe @NinjaWolfHybrid could just tell us what's what, since he/she affirms to be Flanagan, the map-maker.

No is the short answer.

I spent over 3 hours trying to upload a map to Github and failed. As time is precious Im happier being productive and coding/modding a new map "The Shogun" than trying and failing to upload again.

But you could try and upload the zip if you like?

Changed all nations StandardFlag.png sizes

@thedog So it looks like you didn't make any new units? Just removed some? And it looks like you didn't change the map at all? Am I seeing that correctly?

So my thought is to try to add it to the download of middle earth that this is based off of, instead of it's own download.
So, first, do you care?
Second for others that are hopefully reading this, is that a good way to do this? I am not sure how the flag sizes would be affected by doing it this way. Would that make this not work?
