bayder (Axis +9) defeats Kindwind (Allies) in round 4 of an online game. Dice were not "kind" to the allies, Germany had a devastating hit on WR, and the J fleet got early access into the Med. These things added up to an early Allied surrender. Thanks Kindwind as usual for a fast, fun, and friendly game

hammond (Allies) def calbears (Axis+10) in Rd 9
In a nice paced PBEM game, calbears took the axis, but the Allies got good dice in Ukraine. Axis then made an effort to secure the Med with Germany then Japan and was successful in kicking USA out. USA got lucky and managed to take Ukraine and then was able to trickle some support to the European Continent. After a few rounds USA was able to retake Africa and was marching into Asia. Japan's thrust towards Moscow was going to be affected by the diversion of men and material and Moscow had a good defense. Axis still had a couple of options (Med fleet still strong) but tide was swinging Allies way and calbears made an honorable surrender. Thanks for the game! good sport

Eboy82(Axis) defeats Vahe345(Allies) by surrender in round 14. Once again like in TOC 18, two hardcore axis players face eachtother, so the bidding phase went down to 5 before I got it.
The game was interesting, and a few blunders from each side. We had agreed to a no-edit policy, that made this more exciting.
Some highlights.
Japan taking Russia in mid game. with 1 inf and 2 bombers+2 fighters in a sneak attack, and me almost losing German as I for 1 round moved entire stack to W.E in end-game. Forgot that I had only planes purchasing guarding Germany, but luckily, UK at this point was in poor financial status, so did not have a big threat, so could not take out 8 planes + 2 inf. Thanks for game, a very good opponent.vahe_allies_eboy_axis_win_surrenderr14.tsvg -
Cool games so far. WP all. Just a question on bugs.
I have trouble opening some of the games, on the second one I see visual bugs of allied AA in German territories from turn one, on the third one with Eboy82 it just breaks down completely if I go back in turns.
Just wondering if there's a proper way to open these saves or something. Maybe its version difference?

@ondis I see this sometimes also trying to look at history of save files, but don't know the cause or remedy.

Nardawgg (Allies) Def. Seadog (Axis+8) in round 7
Game played live. Germany began with bid placements in europe and a strategy to make a mad dash for Moscow, with everything committed east, they gained a lot of ground quick, securing Caucasus in just 4 rounds. It was tight, but Moscow held the defenses and slowly grew to push them back out of caucasus. With Britain collecting big bucks all game, they became mighty and with Japan not yet ready to challenge Russia, Seadog conceded the game. Fun game, good aggressive player, be careful of Seadog! @bayder yeah, I loaded the save game and if I go back in history, I get errors. This is something that has bugged me for some time. Maybe I use a too old version 2.5.22294

@eboy82 Even happened to me on my own game with my own save I think now. Probably something else, might make a bug report later.

ingcameroni(axis+9) def. Gkhan in round 2.... Gkhan surrender because no time to play!

Frank-the-Tank defeats dj2 (Axis+8) on R7. Allies had an advantegeous start (Russia took Ukraine with 3 units left) and UK took 2 Islands in Pac (but lost submarine). So, it was uphill battle for Axis. The key move came when USA secured a second factory inland while sea control was still disputed. Russia had built a sizable stack so Germany was far from its goal there.
Tks for the game dj2 and gracious surrender. -
epi wins vs Ondis in a very interesting game with a lot action at the sea. Thx for the good game Ondis
-
Ingcameroni (axis) def Hammond in a very interesting online game. Tnks Hammond for the game very friendly man!
-
You guys got me feeling inspired! Probably not done for the finals, cause it's kinda slow and the sea zones ain't done yet. But goals! Like next year for sure hehe. Maybe with a dark blue alt to remind of the OOB or whatever.
ps. prob going too ham there with the tilt, but just for kicks!
I got tripped up in West Russia... predictably hehehe

epi (allies) defeats eboy82 (axis +7) in skilled game round10. It was a beatiful game played very fast by mail. japs did very well but germany was loosing control of europe so eboy surrendered. GG Eboy!

bayder (Allies) defeats Jeffschultz32 (Axis +9) by surrender in round 5 of a PBEM game. Things started very badly for Allies...Gib BB missing on a Germ air attack, UK DD losing to J tran in sz59. But, the game took a major turn when Japan got a disastrous result in their Pearl Harbor attack, allowing a strong USA counter which set up a swift Pacific run. Thanks to Jeff for a fast, fun, and friendly game! -bayder

Nardawgg (axis +8) def. Frank-the-Tank (allies) in round 20. Long and wild game that began with the Allies going heavily against Japan, which was very effective. Japan was misplayed the first couple rounds and took heavy losses. With a Sinkaing and china factory and a fleet sailing in Japan was barely retaking the coast every round, trading with US supported by Russia. Germany had to move fast to keep the Axis in the game, and with a all but free Africa, they had to money to do so. Germany with healthy builds got to Caucasus quite early, and Moscow was evacuated around round 8. The Russian and British armies moved from Moscow to china to add more pain to Japan and the Germans chased them around the map until round 19! where a huge Allied land force was cornered and destroyed. Japan held on just enough for Germany to start seriously threatening UK where Frank conceded. Awesome wild game, do not mess with Frank's anti-Japan strategies! ToC 19 FranktheTank.tsvg

today epis allies defeated nadwaggs axis (+8) in a beatiful skilled and fast online played game. After a lucky allies start in the pacific japan was a bit slowed down. Allies went a lot vs europe, but japan cleared pacific and attacked mega offensive vs russia, so game heated up fast. when germ stacked kar russia took a chance and destroyed a big stack. that weakend germ and russia both. so game became a race to the capitols. berlin was taken a bit earlier after an attack from germ in sout euro missed and usa purchased before berlin doors. Thank you nardwagg for a beattiful fast and skilled match! best, epi (my last save was start of todays session so it not the last rounds nardawgg.tsvg

bayder (axis +9) defeats ingcameroni (allies) in round 8 by surrender in a pbem game. Allies made a very strong early push in the Med, which paid dividends against Germany, especially when combined with the relentless Allied bombing. This focus on Ger allowed Japan to quickly sweep the islands, build two factories, and alternatively stack Per and Egy. Russia made a daring move to stack Per, which allowed Germ to temporarily stack WR, but then have to pull back. Rus attempted to stack WR, but without quite enough forces, and Ing surrendered before Germany could destroy that stack. Ing played extremely well like usuall, and Axis were fortunate to survive against his dynamic play.ToC19_bay-ax_ing-al_r08_2GER.tsvg
