OK, then can you please try the latest prerelease from
https://github.com/triplea-game/triplea/releasesYou can install side by side, just be sure to choose a different installation directory.
Also, when launching TripleA be sure to start the 'correct' installation.I vaguely remember related problems with Macs but I cannot remember at what point that had been fixed (as I don't use Macs).

Ok we both downloaded the latest version. It works. The only difference is he can post to the forum from the game. However I have to save manually and upload the saved game. I get the following message. We are able to play with the work around.

Thanks for the info. Glad you can log in and at least post now. PBF code needs a rework, there actually are some known and unresolved issues/topics about that.Now enjoy gaming.

Same issue, unfortunately. I am running version 2.5.22294, java ver 11.0.6.

not sure what I am doing incorrectly, but I would love to start playing.
PBEM doesn't work either, I get the dreaded TLS error, I presume it has to do with Google tightening security.

Oh yeah, also, I get "No Value Present" when I try to view forum. I an not sure if this is it, or not, but the help tool tip says to post in category/6/, but the PBF category seems to be Category/45/... Is there an .ini I can update, or am I on an older version?

Ok, downloaded the latest TripleA_2.6+14624_windows-64bit.exe and installed in a new directory.
Same issue...

We never could get it work. Funny thing is that it works fine on one computer but not the other. However we found a workaround. If you save the game to your computer then reply to the post and drag the saved game in the post. The other player has to click on the saved game and then they can play there round. -

yea as redanto stated you need to work around it.save game then send save to opponent. Can still do turn summarry by clicking ctrl a and ctrl c and post it with saved game.
That's how we have todo it at A&A.org Until @redrum fix is implemented. Might be some nodeBB incompatibility.
Anyway, let us know if you can't get it to work. You can definitely play, even with a mac
