Game Notifications Not Working
-
At Game Start I don't have any popups. Just goes straight to game. UHD Boxes, TWW and Command Decision are a few that I tried as I know they have them.
Would someone start a game and see if they have the same issue ?
I haven't updated triplea recently, on 14825. Using ubuntu.
I just noticed this. It was working a couple days ago. Was updating boxes and noticed it, so went back to an old version that i know works and it does it to now.
Might be just on my end but ...
Thanks
Edit
just DL latest 14890 and still doing it

yea it's turned on as true. I guess you added that when you were doing testing.
Anyway, it seems to be specific to me and my machine.
I'll continue to try and solve it.

Howdy,
I am having the same problem. I started a local game and a Play by Email Game - in both I went straight to the game. No pop-ups or notifications.

hmm ... what version are you on ? EXP and triplea both.
@VictoryFirst will you test this when you get time
-
Do you remember it happening before ?
-
would you try Total World War and see if it happens ?

Here the latest change log I have:
Change Log: 4.0 Corrected UK_Pacific handling for US territories
TripleA: 1.7.14825
I havenΒ΄t noticed that in the past games, so I assume this is new.

hmm .. Panther tested a couple hours ago and it worked correctly for him.
You haven't DLd latest EXP have you ? Same one that was working before ?
I will ask @ubernaut
Sorry to bug. Do Game notifications show up for you if you start a new game ?
-
@beelee i am not on the latest release and in a game currently so cannot currently update
-
yea that's fine. Would you just start a game in local mode and see if the popups are there at game start ? It does not matter which release. I was on 14825 when I first noticed it.

Problem solved thanks to @VictoryFirst
I was a brain dead idiot and inadvertently turned this off.

Sorry to bug everyone. My bad

@beelee oh so we good then?
