The version of the forum software currently does not allow TripleA to post to the forum.
You need to either manually post turn summary and savegame or use https://www.axisandallies.org/forums/ .

Hmm ... I actually haven't tried to start a new forum game since the switch. I'll give it a try and see if I get similar results.

I see you are on Mac. I just tried with linux and it worked for me.

I used PBEM but it should be interchangeable with PBF. It used to be anyway.

Here's what I did

Hit "Test Server" for the initial start. You don't need to do it every time. Then fire it up.

You don't need to do the Email Provider thing as it doesn't work since the latest nodeBB update.

You could try in PBEM I guess and see what happens

Triplea and mac can be problematic at times but @ubernaut has no issues with his current game. I don't think he's tried starting a new game yet though.

This forum currently runs with NodeBB 4.10.3.
As this version is not compatible with the way PBF is executed, problems using PBF occur.
Basically: TripleA can't log you in and post to the forum for you.

(A&A .org runs with NodeBB 3.whatever - what is compatible with TripleA.)

PBEM works as it does never touch the forum.

Thanks all for the quick and helpful replies.
Unfortunately the PBEM using a generic SMTP (Fastmail) does not seems to work with my macOS client. I want to set it up for Async possibilties.

The Play button is greyed out, as well as the Send Test Email. The To and Email Username is red indicating a missing or wrong value, even though the information is correct I think. Is this know, if not I can create a GitHub issue.

Good to know, that the A&A forums are a possibility as well.

Yea none of the bottom stuff works. you just do the 2 emails, test server once, then start.

Do your turn. Top right hit "Turn Summary" copy that and save game.

Paste the Turn summary and upload the save to here, your game thread. I ususally do the at thingy @hayertjez to my opponent so it notifies them.

They'll get notified if they're watching anyway but that's just the habit I have of doing it.

Most people will do a test turn in Local mode so when they go for real, PBEM mode, most of their decisions are already made. Makes for a cleaner and quicker turn, while also allowing you to test different ideas.

If you need to save pre combat, e.g. there is a scramble option, I will take a screenshot of the area in question and post the save as well.

Heads up that saving mid turn won't post the dice averages as it otherwise would.

I guess you could just send everything to your emails too. Just have to do it manually still.
