When joining a BOT there is no option for AI

Hello,
When joining an existing BOT, i cant find any option in order to select AI to take a specific nation. Iam trying this online (not local). So is there any option to do that or its required to HOST the game to do so? What i want to do is to play e.g. Axis with a friend and AI to take Allies -

@beelee Actually, this is more of a question for a TripleA developer (like @LaFayette or @RoiEX), though this is the same since Veqryn made it.
I can confirm the automated hosts (bots) offer no AI, and I'm fairly sure this is due to keep them fairly cheap on requirements (though this does not explain why even "Does Nothing" is missing, which is a problem for my "270BC Wars" game, requiring it).
