Can't Get triplea to work with Ubuntu 22.04

Apologies to ask here but been trying for a couple weeks. I seem to have no write access. Can read but not reply. Happens at A&A.org too.

Tried asking around the net but haven't found anything that works. Anyone cares to help, would be appreciated.

Please help me to understand what you are talking about:

What "write access" do you need with the TripleA software on the TripleA-forum and on the A&A .org-forum? Do you mean posting savegames?

Or do you mean that on Ubuntu 22.04 you can't save anything from the TripleA engine on your hard drive, as you have no write access?

I'm on Ubuntu 22.04, not noticing any problems.
Perhaps it's your browser? Please be more specific what exactly is not working and which web browser you are trying

@lafayette I'm on firefox. Got a new, to me, thinkpad t560. Trying to setup for linux and went with latest ubuntu. 22.04

I can read posts but I can't reply to them. I'm on my old,old machine which has 20.04 and it works fine.

Was wondering if anyone had any trouble with the latest ubuntu was all. Must be a install problem on my part. Whats odd, is originally installed with 20.04 and it worked fine then did an update the next day to 22.04 and that's where the problem showed up.

@beelee I do recall having some browser specific issues on Ubuntu. I recommend to give 'Brave' or 'Chrome' a try

@lafayette Thank You switched to Brave and it works. Must be a firefox issue
