I am unable to login

I've been playing in triplea for years (Betar and now IronGlaive). I was able to login and play earlier today and yesterday.
However right now when I click "play online" to enter the general chat I am getting the following error: "Error: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed executing POST https://prod.triplea-game.org/user-login/authenticate"
I tried restarting my laptop. I'm not sure what is causing this error, could someone please advise how this can be fixed so I can login? Thank you

@epinikion oh wow, i wonder how many other people are getting the same error when logging into the Lobby.

A few minutes ago I tried uninstalling triplea and reinstalling triplea.
After reinstalling triplea I got this message:
"An error occurred: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /Applications/TripleA.app/Contents/Resources/app/.install.prop (Operation not permitted) Error log: /private/var/folders/53/nxg_yfbj04d1lz5crp_dd_0h0000gn/T/install4jError6324132248839213550.log"Additionally, after reinstalling it I tried clicking "Play Online" to enter the Lobby and just like earlier today I still get the same message as before:
"Error: PKIX path validation failed: java.security.cert.CertPathValidatorException: validity check failed executing POST https://prod.triplea-game.org/user-login/authenticate"

The 2.6 Prerelease lobby is working for me. There's a half adozen people on there.
2.5 gives me the same error. I'm on linux

Hope this is temporary. But will not be surprised this is the end of TA like gametable online. Steam now the official platform for AA revised is sucking up all the market for players.
