Request Header to allow/skip filter in Cloudflare
-
Hey, I've been having bot issues on axisandallies.org and signed up for Cloudflare. TripleA traffic is now seen as bot traffic because I have a managed challenge enabled. I can filter it out but the headers sent by TripleA are too generic. Can you add a custom header, like
X-TripleA-Client: trueor something like that.In the meantime, I'll use a combination of rules that fairly confidently allow the client traffic through. POST and /api and maybe
Apache-HttpClientin the user-agent. -
Will ping @LaFayette and mention this on git also

If you just need any headers in order to do a whitelist, you should be able to use "System-Id-Header"
IIRC, as of 2.6 a "Triplea-Version"header was added.

@lafayette That works.

@lafayette It turns out, that header was only sent to the lobby. I submitted a PR to add the header, and a "proper" user-agent, on requests to forums.
