@prastle rules are posted to website: https://triplea-game.org/user-guide/lobby-rules I think you can probably just link to them in the OP so that we would have them written in one place.

@LaFayette said in Rules issues with the TripleA engine: I'm somewhat familiar with these issues and it still would take me a really large amount of time to go through them to find relevant information and whether they are current and what exactly they are. This is simply too 'raw' and too much information to be generally useful to the general player. I disagree with both of your statements, FWIW. But I am not going to repeat a discussion about dealing with rules related issues we already had some time ago. Do what you want.

I wanted to post this on this thread, as it's for MARTI registration. As of the current date the following is not working with MARTI: gmail hotmail outlook Try to find another email option. In other threads on this site, people have mentioned 'Junk email' options. There are better people than me to ask about this

@cernel Well what a VPN does is to redirect all of your internet traffic through the servers of the VPN provider. To express it with the NordVPN Documentation (not sponsored btw): Port forwarding and triggering could work with a VPN protocol in general, but not with NordVPN. So while there's nothing speaking against Port Forwarding with a VPN in general, your VPN provider would need to explicitly support it, i.e. forward all traffic they get on a certain port back to you. But I'll update the description regardless, because you're right. This might be a common pitfall nowadays.

Fwiw, I can't get it to work on TV either. Probably because my TV is smarter than me Can you go step by step and show us where you get stuck ?

@mammothman64 I guess you are talking about registering for lobby-play? Or for the dice server? Sorry, there is nothing I can do to register an email-address for you. The trick is not to use gmail in the TripleA software at all (except for posting to the forum in PBF). You need to use an email-address of a provider that does not automatically block mails from special senders (such as TripleA-servers obviously). Try for example proton or gmx. Good luck!

@icyfirefly I have the same issue. I tried to reset it twice, and never got an email. Upon trying it a third time, it says "Error, too many password reset attempts". When I tried with a different email, it said it wasn't a valid username/email combo, so that means I did have the right username/email combo when trying to reset before.

@galendae you do realize we have logs right? the only person telling people to fuck off was you. i understand you wer upset with what you perceive was trolling of ur game but that doesn’t warrant the abusive stance you took with @wirkey everyone here is a volunteer and must be impartial when it comes to taking actions. the proper course would have been for you to show evidence the other player wasn’t just confused as you assert instead of berating the person u r seeking help from

Indeed, it used to be there until the redesign of the website.
I would welcome it back, too, maybe in the "Development"-Section on the bottom of the Download page.
