      @beelee yes bee you hit the nail on the HEAD. It means that IF the random aa shot hits the para bomber they air transport dies ... The only know glitch that is left ( that I know of) is that the bomber can continue to fly and bomb after dropping para. Which is not legal. BUT yes many wonderfull things available 🙂 Great stuff

        @prastle That is easily correctable inside the XML. It is really just the way you guys have approached para in your game.

          @hepps Nope
          also needs the move para first and control/click movement fixed
          It shouldn't need to matter if ya do it at start of round.
          AND it shouldn't require control movements
          of fly pattern

            @Hepps to clarfy this occurs any game with paras and non com movement.

            But i can say I never checked in tww

                      @hepps Ran into a retreat problem for my elite dude. He's not supposed to be able to when being air dropped. Checked POS and TWW but couldn't find how to make it happen.

                      Know you're busy but would appreciate it if you would clue me in when you get a chance : )

                      OK got it to kinda work. If I kill the elite and then try and retreat the transport i get "couldn't find step name germans withdraw". Still lets it retreat but I've never seen that before. I'll dick with it some more.

                        @beelee To my knowledge the airdropped unit has always retained the ability to retreat if it is not taken as a casualty. I know it has always been the case in TWW.

                        I think the only retreats that are currently blockable are amphibious assaults.

                          @hepps right on. I got it set so they can "Go Deep" so maybe that's why ? It's a little confusing still. I saved before the changes when i got it not to retreat. I need to go through it all again and see exactly what's happening.

                          A cool thing was i ran across "canInvadeOnlyFrom" which I wasn't aware of. I'll let ya know what I end up with : ) Heh heh Yanks just scored sweet. Have to take a break for a bit : )

                            as long as you don't want them to stop at first flyover of enemy ter

                              @beelee As far as I know the "canInvadeOnlyFrom" only controls the behavior of Sea Transports. I may be wrong but I don't think this has any way to limit the behavior of airdrops specifically. I could be wrong... I have not played around with this function all that much.

                                @hepps That's correct. Its only used by sea transports.

                                  POS had: <option name="canInvadeOnlyFrom" value="transport:jp_transport:air_transport:super_carrier.." so thought maybe it did.

                                      @beelee super_carrier has transport capacity. Its essentially both a carrier and transport.

                                        @beelee the other thing to bear in mind... is that whatever restrictions you add to a unit are universal.

                                        So if your Elite is set with this property... it affects it across all transport methods.

                                        You cannot pick and choose to use this and have it only apply to a paratrooper while paratrooping. the restriction would be imposed as well for the units behavior on sea transports.

                                          @redrum yea I can see that. It was the " air transport" one that had me thinking it might. I'll get back at it

                                            @beelee well I think I got it sorted. The first attack was over land from India and the second was over water from Germany to Scotland. So The water was what made it not able to retreat, "canInvadeOnly.." didn't have anything to do with it.

                                            I thought the original paratroopers weren't allowed to retreat at all. Which kinda makes sense but at the same time I guess i could see it if they're next to a friendly TT. Actually I forgot to try Goin Deep. I'll be right back.

                                            Yea so you can only retreat if you came from an adjacent friendly TT. Probably if other troops attack from a different one would work too. Didn't test that.

                                            Anyway think I'm back to forward progress again. Thanks again @Hepps @prastle @redrum . Nice work on the icon images. One more thing to learn how to use : )
