On balance that is probably for the best, delay updating the flaky triplea_maps.yaml till you have to. Do you have 30+ maps uploaded and with more to come? -
@thedog I don't have precise numbers, but I have uploaded most of the maps that I have collected.

yessss! finally finished the update 2.5 of the Shogun Advanced -project...
now all new features and great possibilities of TripleA 2.6 implemented.... like the "<option name="isAI" value="true"/>" element, improving Ai-opponents gameplay......
and other minor updates...
as allways: feedback very welcome at this forum-thread....thanks at @thedog for our long lasting >3 year "project-marriage ", all support, answering my hundreds of questions patiently &even uploading the update to Github!!

Latest version v2.6 ready for download.
In TripleA
Click Download Maps Button
Click Installed tab
Click Shogun Advanced
Click Remove Button
Click Yes button to remove
Click Ok button (Successfully removed)
Click Close (To force the map list to refresh)
Click Download Maps Button
Find & Click Shogun Advanced
Click Install button(be aware, displayed percentage download is NOT working as intended, have a coffee, it takes minutes to download)
Enjoy!.
v2.6- Vanquished all land & sea units, was just sea units

@TheDog I recently tried this mod and there is a lot to like about it. However, it does have one problem, at the start of everyone is at war with everyone else. This is both ahistorical and confusing to play. They should either start neutral with each other or grouped into two loose alliances, one in Eastern Japan and other in Western Japan.

@RogerCooper Thanks for the feedback and good to hear there is a lot you like about this game. About the initial settings: yes that was a deliberate choice, as it is FFA we like to have instant action. and a "what if"- feeling The game is very historical concerning the map, mountain ranges/passes, spreading resources, Pu value of various provinces,units, events and so... but indeed not historical in the alliances setting at game start .... that was a sacrifice we made to have a better ballance between the Clans.... but you can tackle this by changing the Diplomatic settings at game start with the editor. greetings ebbe

@ebbe I am going to try this with everyone starting at peace (except Gaia and Nature). In general, I don't like FFA games as you can't make plan when everyone is at war and players on the edge of the board are favored.

my experience with this game is that as a human player one has good infuence in diplomatic settings with succesful reasonable good outcome on diplo proposals and even Ai players change diplo settings reguar.... but more randomly it seems...?

@ebbe I tried the game with everyone starting at peace. The AI's quickly started wars, so there is no need to worry about nothing happening in the game. You many want to add scenarios with everyone at peace or starting alliance.

Hi, just 2 quick questions cause I do not want to waste your time
- is this game stable or still work in progress ?
- is it possible to play with 2 human players and all the rest played by AI ?
no alliances like for Axis and Allies so 14 factions will always be player by random AI
I am asking because it seems an interesting game but do not want to read and learn if it not matching to what I asked

Hi- it is stable, plays slow, but stable, it is not been worked on
- Yes, two humans can be adversaries or they can ally , yes the other factions will be AI, I suggest making them Fast-AI
