@thedog I would suggest adding Steampunk-Advanced, The Grand War and Ultimate Pants.
Never played either, but why Ultimate Pants and not Ultimate War? Besides, are you sure that deserves being considered top quality? I don't remember having ever seen anyone playing Ultimate Pants in the lobby...
-
@cernel The different Ultimate scenarios are fairly similar, I am not sure which is the best.

@rogercooper I feel that Ultimate World (as well as its variants) is very much belonging to the old times of TripleA and is no longer any popular. I wouldn't have it in top quality also since it has playability issues due to the very small and very crowded territories and the small units, which are sometimes hard to tell apart especially in case of some sea units (now even more serious an issue as we move to 4K monitors). On top of that, it is such a wildly unhistorical game (even by TripleA standards) to have in any historical category. Mostly, I'm feeling that World At War made Ultimate World substantially obsolete: seemingly, Ultimate World players moved to World At War after the latter existed, so having the conceptually very similar Ultimate World and World At War on the same standing does not feel quite right to me in the moment the latter is something like a hundred or maybe even a thousand times more popular than the former as a matter of game played in the lobby. Besides, if there is not a clear best scenario, I think that it would be reasonable the most to have the original one (rather than any variant unless the variant is clearly better).
For example, Big World (comprising at least a couple variants, like the sometime somewhat popular NekahNet's 1939), Big World 2 and even the scantly played Pact of Steel (just to cite a bunch of global WW2 games) are definitely more popular than Ultimate World (or any one of its variants) in the lobby, and I'm not even sure that those deserve to be at the top.

I am a huge fan of these TripleA games - though I am starting to tire of the usual WWII scenario and seeking something more.
What I mean is that most of these WW2 games are all more or less the same: The Axis are out gunned and at a huge geographic disadvantage so the usual game is either: The Axis "win" by not losing by turn X, or the The Allies win by simply creating a pipeline and overwhelming the Axis. There is little room for any other "strategic adventures."
But I thought I saw a "map" that had England starting in Axis hands but I cannot find it now. Does anyone know of this scenario (what you guys call "maps"?) or any other games set in the tripleA gaming context but offering fresh new challenges?
Thank you and congrats to all for keeping these games fresh

@johnnycat https://github.com/triplea-maps/Darkest_Hour has Britain starting under German control.
Most of the WW2 scenarios in A&A tend to favor the Axis. US production is unrealistically low and the Japanese can usually conduct a logistically impossible march across Asia to Moscow.
For other alternate history scenarios, download the mod "Classic Variations". For a list of scenarios, see https://axisandallies.fandom.com/wiki/Category:TripleA_Scenarios.

May I suggest Crockett36's France Goes First? Same Board game as G40 se, but France decided to move in April of 1940, either to attack or to retreat or turtle or to build more fleet? A very unique experience!
