Save Won't Post in PBEM
-
When I try to post a save I get this

anyone else having this issue ?
The save I was posting was the one at the start of the error in brackets Testing-9-5-26.tsvg
Edit
so the saves are all gzip. I'm pretty sure they have been for quite some time.
and the error is saying it doesn't like gz
Edit 2
I did a massive 630 mb update to the machine today. Idk if that jacked anything up or not.Edit 3
I asked the computer and it said nodebb isn't recognizing the gzip or tsvg or something. Idk. I've got bad information from it more than once but it's workaround to put the gzip in a regular zip and post it sems that it'll work for now. -
@beelee when you say PBEM this is PBF or am i missing something here?

Hi
I post our games in PBF but am using pbem. They are basically interchangeable but my process is
start a game in pbem
do turn
copy turn summary
make a saveand then post the summary and the save to the game thread which is in pbf
then opponent DLs save and repeats the process
-
@beelee huh that what me and @nothingtoseehere are doing itβs not rejecting our uploads

-
Could be fixed now.
Forums was updated, it has a white list of which files to allow for upload. I added 'tsvg' and 'gz' both. -
ok that's good to know. I did a massive 630 mb update to the machine today as I haven't done it in like a month. Idk if that jacked up something or not.
And my opponent hasn't tried to send me a test save using the next turn which would be me.
We did use a different save to redo a few turns do to a rule misunderstanding but I've used different saves before. Maybe it didn't like that but I started a brand new game against myself and it did the same thing. Starting a game from scratch
Edit
@lafayette right on I will try it again now -
