Defiance In The Desert Game

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone has any interest in making this board game set in 1931. Italy versus the Libyan Army of Rebels or "The Lion Of The Desert" as it were. Here is a listing of this game based on the real scenario of Benito Mussolini and Rodolfo Graziani

Hi @tony! It's not impossible that an experienced mapmaker will volunteer do this map, but you can also try your hand at making a map yourself! It does take some time, but you can get started quite quickly.
You can try this map creation guide or download the Map Making Tutorial from the in-game downloader (Download maps -> Tools tab on the top).
Also, if you have any questions or just feel confused, ask the forum, there are many experienced guys around to help you.

I have very little knowledge of map making but I may look into it.
I have a belief that in order to have a balanced board game all sides involved need to start out with the same money or resources and units to start with, then as the game goes on luck of the dice and strategy plays the major role of the outcomes. This game seems cool with armored cars, cavalry, infantry and bi planes. I love Africa wars for some reason and like Erwin Rommel and Benito Mussolini. Someone with a lot of experience would be able to make this map a lot faster than me for sure, if anyone has the interest to do so. I am looking into buying this game at some point on ebay. I looked and it goes for about $30.00 to $35.00.

@tony The description shows that the game is something like Memoir 44. There is a computer version of Memoir 44, with a scenario editor. You could easily build a Kufra scenario.

@Tony don't forget you have the Low Luck or LL dice option which is a % or "non-random" dice roll to help reduce down the variable factors and make game play more about "strategy"!
Just saying ... because you didn't mention it and LL dice is quite popular now
Oh and ever heard of an old show called "Rat Patrol"? WWII battles in Africa!
