Keep getting this error when trying to login to the client, any ideas?

It is the other guy I am trying to play with. He should have been on 13066, had the error, then re-installed (probably to 2.0), still had the error.

So playing by forum then ? The other guys are in Europe so probably sleeping. Maybe @LaFayette or @redrum will have time to look in ?

Welcome. It would be helpful if "the other guy" posted the complete error message. Also we might need some more details.
Maybe you can encourage him to join for resolving his problem? -

Also I'd like to point out that in order to play multiplayer in any shape or form all players have to use the same version to prevent errors
