        @ubernaut I think redrum used to play TWW could ask him to add it to git. Might make it a little easier for people

            That is correct; I've found noone to do any test games with myself in the lobby, so ubernaut's game plus my own internal testing verifying the bugs themselves were fixed is all we've got. So I'm waiting for ubernaut's game to finish; though we could go ahead with it now.

              @zlefin so far the only additional issue ive seen is that bug that allows you to move a bb after it was in a battle

                Yea, I'd suggest to just go ahead and update it to git. You can fix errors and update after you do that as well.

                Probably would make it more accessible.

                    @beelee So. our first game with the new XML has finished see here. During that game, I changed computers and forgot to replace the original with the bug-free XML from here. So we currently are in the next game and because of the old XML the bugs especially the carrier bug is still occurring. Right now in Japan 1. I already replaced the xml again so the problem is apparently with the save. There is no workaround to update to the new XML in a game that's already started, is there?
                    In any case, it's probably a good idea to finally update to the bug-free XML in the repository instead of relying on word of mouth and manual downloading from here to make sure this doesn't happen again.

                      yea can't do it. Can change units and placements and stuff. Basically everything other than xml.

                      J1 I'd just bite the bullet and restart. It's a long game, probably take a couple months anyway.

                      hmm ... idk who is in charge of TWW anymore. Used to be hepps but he's not been around for a while. Hope he's doing ok. Cool dude.

                        @beelee If you are changing a lot, it should be new xml file and game name or even a new folder in the repository.

                            @rogercooper i believe all @zlefin did was patch the bugs that came from engine changes in 2.6

                              I'm still hoping to see the update get pushed properly so it's in the map repository; maybe next time @LaFayette is around?

                                @zlefin hey thanks supposedly i have the permissions to do map edits but i dont rly understand how github works. i have noticed one tiny remaining bug with map i think the chinese anti-tank tech doesn't activate the little badge it normally does here is a saved game showing the issue:

                                randomly just had an issue without the game someone accidentally disabled two of the neutrals in our game and now it seems like i cannot re-enable them. do u happen to know any way around this or do we just need leave them neutral now?

                                  Any changes made to map/game files will not be reflected in a save game. ie: I found that Chinese Advance Anti-Tank Gun was not listed in unit_icons.properties. Making changes will not correct the save game since that file is self-contained.

                                    @wc_sumpton yeah no i understand that this game was started with the modified xml so there must be something off in that file is all im saying. all the other faxctions/units seem to work properly as far as i have seen so far at least

                                    my question was about the deactivation of 2 of the neutral countries is there any way to fix that or once they are disabled they cannot be re-enabled?

                                    to be clear one of us must have unchecked the 'use' in the previous turn next to two factions. i have yet to be able to figure out a way to re-check those boxes.

                                      I don't think that once game was saved with deactivated players, that those players can be reactivated. I think this was purposely. It is easier to remove information/players to the UI then it is to add.
