    Regular nwo probably doesn't need a bid. At least it doesn't at high skill levels per the history of ladder games tuning it. It's possible it does at more medium skill levels. It's also possible there's some key move patterns or choices that aren't being utilized which would fix the issue, and that not enough of the good nwo players are still around to copy from. I don't know about 5-nations at all, as I'm not sure it was ever subject to tight balance tuning. Of course part of the point of a bid system is that you can use it regardless of others' opinions on the matter, and simply bid to find something that seems fair to both sides.

    @deusastra I'm not 100% sure if bots can even be passworded. The 'server' password refers to how the bot is controlled via admin commands. I don't think it is even used anymore even.

    @lexxisriennnl I have an interesting story about that. During the gamification training, I created "a game in the game". This was one of the assignments to complete a course on java programming. https://codegym.cc/ is a really unusual service for learning to program.

    @jim-parker The error.log is just a simple text file that does not affect any procedure once it has been created or deleted. The errors that are still included in the error log indicate some inconsistencies with the PBF setup information. However, as you can post now we should get back to your issue once it will probably reappear. It is always a bit tricky to use usernames that contain spaces or special characters for PBF. That is why on the other forum we recommend to avoid that or to change the name. In any case jim-parker should work on this forum. Of course you need to change the Forum information in the PBF setup-screen to forums.triplea-game.org .

    @beelee That fixed me. I double checked the pop repo and it has an old version. I uninstalled it then reinstalled the latest of this site and it is working now. Thanks!

    @dubstep All mods can see the (unedited) chat log, so we know what was said in there. About the thing in your game, if it was an honest mistake or an attempt of cheating. it's his word against yours. And I know who I trust more. Now, the ban was only 15 minutes, you should get over it. And I can promise you: if you keep arguing all you will achieve is that every mod is looking more carefully at you.

    @dubstep I'd agree if a topic is locked it should stay that way. I've opened an internal message with moderators asking them to be more mindful of this.

    @beelee I would suggest erasing the flags which is easy to do in Paint. There is no reason to have flags in unit images, as you can turn flags on with View/Flag Display/Small.

    China is green, United States is green. I like blue. I tried using an AI but couldn't seem to figure it out. I have paint.net but can't rub out every unit with an eraser. I am trying to use these units because they are color enhanced, the rest have flags under them but Italy in blue. Anyone know an AI that cleans off these flags or 1 that adds flags or 1 that changes colors. I played around with a few ai's but couldn't get it working.

    I like the infantry units from the oil and snow except Italy. I got those infantry only and for Italy have this 1 because it has blue sort of in it.Infantry.png

    @ubernaut I meant as a national colour. The French were also not blue any longer in WW2. Obviously, the Russians were not red either: that is the international colour of Communism made into a national colour. The actual colour of the Italian infantry, though, was actually mostly grey with a hint of green: it was called "grigioverde", which means "grey-green".
