In this case the US AA Guns in Kwangtung should NOT change ownership, as by the core V3 rules, page 20:

"Antiaircraft guns outside the newly liberated capital territory remain under their pre-liberation ownership."

yea as redanto stated you need to work around it.

save game then send save to opponent. Can still do turn summarry by clicking ctrl a and ctrl c and post it with saved game.

That's how we have todo it at A&A.org Until @redrum fix is implemented. Might be some nodeBB incompatibility.

Anyway, let us know if you can't get it to work. You can definitely play, even with a mac 🙂

@bluelionman yea you could just edit everything so it's the same. Would take a while but doable.

Also, just to be clear, you can have both 2.5 and 2.6.
2.5 saves will work on 2.6 but not vice versa.

@beelee Thanks so much for the link! I downloaded the .sh file and installed it to my system. Version 2.6 runs fine! It came up with an error when I clicked on the button to download maps, but this isn't a big deal since I can download them manually - at least the game is playable now. If that more issues turn up I can report them.

Great job. I'm a little apprehensive to attempt that solution on my main machine. Will try again when the new update arrives.

Until then, I think I'll try to run the current 2.5 update on an older laptop that still has Windows installed. I just hate going back to Windows after enjoying Linux so much, if you know what I mean.

Hope if somebody can help me. I´m having the same problem of this thread since 3 weeks ago. I can enter to lobby and play during some time but then I get disconnected with the same error message. Then, I cann´t enter even to the lobby with my username and have use another username to could play.

I don't play online, but I don't think that's how it works. I am probably wrong, but just wanted to check in so you know someone hears you.

@black_elk Yes, indeed, It looks to me like a guy who took care of paying for space on a server, another who made TripleA's website and another who busy setting up the forum for a community that must have been very active at one time.
But there, I have the impression, as I said, that the space on the server has been renewed, for 5 years for example, with the donations received at the time, but that the person who paid does not even come to this forum anymore, that the person who took care of the website does not take care of it anymore, and that the person who created this forum and who was supposed to be in charge at the beginning does not take care of it either .

Otherwise, once all that is in place, it's easy to leave it like that, without doing anything and it doesn't require any more work. And who knows, maybe the big guy responsible for all of this is dead and hasn't made arrangements for someone to take over. All assumptions are good.

Otherwise, the last time @LaFayette was here was 20 days ago and for @PRASTLE it was 5 months. Here below for the other moderators (apart from @Panther) that I found based on the first 24 Top posters of the forum - and it would surprise me a lot if there were other moderators than these further down the list. As we can see we see that this site is declining and that's why I really feel that one day like this, without warning, this site will be offline because the person who pays for the domain name will not have renewed it, or that the space on the server will not have been paid for. Given the few people who frequent the forum (the fact that it's summer doesn't change that much in my opinion), I would be surprised if this site is profitable - unlike its beginnings. Therefore, it would be surprising if a manager - who doesn't seem to visit this forum anymore - decides to pay out of pocket for the loss of earnings to keep this site online.
In short, I believe that what the translation I did, well, I did it for nothing...
