    @heping you should be able to play by email or forum then I would think. Not the same as a live game, but it would be against other people.

    This topic has been opened by @YakubianPatmos for a specific purpose, already sorted out, and anything else (whether somehow related or not) is therefore off topic. In the specific case, @YakubianPatmos himself/herself admitted that he/she was in violation of the rules, and it looks to me (based on information not publicly available) that he/she certainly was (for more than just a slur), and now he/she is not banned any longer anyway. To be clear, this is not a case of someone being banned without any proper reason: the ban has been confirmed but reduced in length so that it has already expired, so there's nothing left to do here. I'm locking this Topic. (If anyone believes that anything else should be discussed, feel free to open a new topic.)

    If I understand the scenario correctly 'Western Sinkiang' is the capital of China in this game and has just been liberated? In this case the US AA Guns in Kwangtung should NOT change ownership, as by the core V3 rules, page 20: "Antiaircraft guns outside the newly liberated capital territory remain under their pre-liberation ownership."

    @IrritatedRhino yea as redanto stated you need to work around it. save game then send save to opponent. Can still do turn summarry by clicking ctrl a and ctrl c and post it with saved game. That's how we have todo it at A&A.org Until @redrum fix is implemented. Might be some nodeBB incompatibility. Anyway, let us know if you can't get it to work. You can definitely play, even with a mac

    Russia can only build up their armies instead of attacking Germany which was a rule Larry intended on for historical accuracy. He included this rule in A&A Classic and Iron Blitz.

    @bluelionman yea you could just edit everything so it's the same. Would take a while but doable. Also, just to be clear, you can have both 2.5 and 2.6. 2.5 saves will work on 2.6 but not vice versa.

    @beelee Thanks so much for the link! I downloaded the .sh file and installed it to my system. Version 2.6 runs fine! It came up with an error when I clicked on the button to download maps, but this isn't a big deal since I can download them manually - at least the game is playable now. If that more issues turn up I can report them. Anyway, thanks so much for your help!

    @redwood1 Great job. I'm a little apprehensive to attempt that solution on my main machine. Will try again when the new update arrives. Until then, I think I'll try to run the current 2.5 update on an older laptop that still has Windows installed. I just hate going back to Windows after enjoying Linux so much, if you know what I mean. Thanks to everyone for your help.

    Hi everybody, Hope if somebody can help me. I´m having the same problem of this thread since 3 weeks ago. I can enter to lobby and play during some time but then I get disconnected with the same error message. Then, I cann´t enter even to the lobby with my username and have use another username to could play.
