    @Cernel I think @frigoref is asking for testing mechanics used within the engine for making these changes. As for changes, there is only one air battle mechanic and is used for "Battles May Be Preceeded By Air Battles" and "Raids May Be Preceeded By Air Battles". If the latter is true, there would need to be another option to switch AA fire to the beginning of the air battle instead of the SBR battle. These units should be allowed to battle until "Air Battle Rounds" or maxRoundsAA or a normal battle conclusion and can be taken as casualties if isInfrastructure is false. Program wise I don't any other changes would need to be made. Cheers...

    @bluelionman Would you elaborate more on what you are trying to do ? Are you trying to play by forum or on the lobby ? I believe you don't need a pw for the lobby. I think the registration for the site is pretty straight forward. If still having trouble I would ask @Panther

    @thedog I'm trying to revert it now. Hopefully it doesn't cause more problems. This is the second time a yaml error screwed everything up. I won't merge anything from now on unless it is from an existing map and the only change is the version number. There should be safeguards so this can't happen. Edit Ok it's fixed or at least I can DL maps again

    @crockett36 Yes I'd go with Dog's suggestion. I'm on linux, so i don't want to confuse the situation further but it looks as if your shot with the downloadedMaps has -master at the end. That needs to be renamed and removed. You will notice boxes doesn't have it. I believe Dog is correct though, that you can delete and re download. Either way should work though. Stick with us Brother ! We'll get you dialed in

    Hey friend, try this lobby URL: -Ptriplea.lobby.uri=https://prod2-lobby.triplea-game.org \ I found it randomly by browsing through the forums as my terminal didn't recognize the original URL either. It works :). I'm now at the point where I'm trying to figure out how to remove the "automated_host" thing in the comments section as I"d like to change that to something else. that, and I'd like the BOT to automatically load up the revised map. Any suggestions here?

    To leave the apostrophe in the name, replace it with an underscore in the objectives file. Thus "Fading Light of V'landriel" becomes "Fading_Light_of_V_landriel".

    Also, adding an empty <technology></technology> section will remove the "Technology" tab.

    From what I remember, as Im not a fan of Objectives, as the AI does not understand them.

    In the xml, removed the apostrophe

    In map.yml removed the apostrophe and put quotes around the map name

  • Hello,

    A friend of mine has created a mod of a fantasy world of their creation. We are trying to figure out how to see the "Objectives" Tab and add objectives to it. I've spend an exorbitant amount of time trying to figure it out and I am dumb. The mod is fully functional and we are testing the "balance" in various game runs, but we just can't wrap our heads around Objectives currently. I will say I haven't tested to see if they even work, but without the Objectives tab there's no way for the players to see it visually so I wanted that fixed first. I've looked on the forums here and seen about naming conventions with the map.yml file matching mapName in the game xml file. I've tested both with and without underscores in the name within the objective properties file to no avail. I sourced from other mods to see what their code says and nothing seems to line up simply. I even went from the current stable 2.5 version to the current 2.7 version as of today, 5/5/26. I just can't figure it out. I'm uploading the current iteration of the mod that functions, including the nonfunctioning objectives properties file and objectives in the game xml file.
