@rogercooper There is mod called Modern Warfare inspired by the contemporary political situation. It looks interesting and uses a modified version of the WW2 Global map.

Hi @prosperity what email did you use ? Try a protonmail or a gmx.com or.net. I don't think Gmail works anymore. Idk if yahoo does or not. Actually, this issue came up recently at the A&A site. @thedog Per my post, I find the indicator of how many steps a unit has moved to be very ugly, which is visible in the method you suggested. Is it possible to disable that in any way?

This is exactly what I thought: cannot be a bug, otherwise people would have noticed it much earlier (How do League Players cope with this behaviour?), that's why I thought I needed rules clarifications. I promise I'll create a GitHub account, but as I wrote somewhere else already, I need to take some time to first understand what it is about... Looks very intimidating @Cernel My other question was due to the fact that there are other circumstances where unescorted transport are auto-destroyed without the need to hit them. But I agree that the rules are quite clear on that there is no reasons to treat them differently than a cruiser. Btw, I downloaded the new update and saw that my problem with Air battles is now solved. It is very nice to see that there are people working on improving the game, thanks a lot for that.

@beelee Hi beelee, after your message I went looking for a game and found that I didn't have a map loaded. I loaded the 1941 map and the option came up to play local. Thanks!

@cernel Thank you, this is very smart I tried and it is working by setting isStrategicBomber=true and bombingBonus=-6 to the fighter's attachement (bombingMaxDieSides=0 dosen't work, no clue why). But then there are some weaknesses: the "bomb/escort" prompts when the fighter is alone (logic), it is still rolling a die (which means that if you send a bomber with 3 fighters, you roll 4 dies with only one that matters - a bit misleading). So I think that now that I understood that excorts never have been thought to be used as protection against Air defense... I will stick to this principle as well.

@cernel Thanks! Don't know why I didn't think about that. I played a few years ago and just started playing again. I think that might have caused some confusion but most likely operator error
