@Cernel Nah, the Germans were the ones who attempted to seize the French fleet. The fact that the French were able to scuttle most of the fleet is the reality. What the mechanic allows if for some chance to determine how successful the Germans might be at trying to stop the scuttle.

Thanks again. I didn't know images in game notes needed a separate folder. Was struggling hard to figure it out Don't see it mentioned in POS2 anywhere. Maybe next time it's updated it could be mentioned ? I probably wouldn't have thought to look there but may have stumbled across it at one point or another. It may help someone in the future. Just a thought. Once again Thanks

After you started TripleA and, then, selected the game you want to play ("Select Map"), click on "Start Local Game", then you can assign players to the AI in the Type column ("Human" means the one that you will play).

so one can't move through a closed "canal" is why it didn't work. At least that seems to be the reason. Maybe "virtually anywhere" should clarify if so

@RogerCooper You could simply give Hvy Bombers a negative terrain effect over water.

This question keeps resurfacing once every couple of years or so... @Jim-Jimjim To give more contest to what @redrum correctly said, back when this map was made TripleA didn't have the feature of hiding players that never actually play. So, there are simply no reasons for the last 5 listed so called players (TripleA calls the powers/countries/factions as "players" and the actual players as "type") to be offered as playable powers to the users, beside the fact that: 1- when this map was made, there was no way not to have players selectable, and 2- so far, nobody updated it. Anyone can now pull an update to that game (and preferably all of its many mods and variants), to hide (and preferably also assign to the nothing AI) all the players there is no point assigning.

@nishant121 I assume you are getting confused. This forum is about the TripleA program, and its maps and games, not about Triple-A games, or video games in general.

@Panther I don't use either as I use Windows 10 But generally, I believe the majority of Chrome OS is Chromebooks not full desktops and I don't think I'd ever choose to install Chromium OS on my PC. I'd probably go with Ubuntu personally but when it comes to linux flavors I think its more about what you are comfortable with and if there are certain things you are looking for since they are all a little different.

@tinfoil666 For the most part, I agree with you though whether you have limited battle rounds plays a big part in this as if you don't then the difference between weakening attacker and strengthening defenders isn't much since they fight to the death. I don't believe there is any easy way to have a fortification increase the HP of other units. You could either have the fortifications increase their defense or have fortifications that have 0 attack/defense and just HP or some combination of those. You might be able to do something with triggers where units in a territory with a fortification are changed into a unit with more HP after your turn and then a trigger to change them back at the start of your turn. I believe what you are getting at would be something like adding a new supportAttachment option that could increase HP instead of just attack/defense. Its an interesting idea and you could create a feature request to see if others supported it as well.

@Frostion I think it would see them as free if they have "0 PU cost" so would buy as many as possible but not positive.

@MartyMoose Global 50 No wonder the Canadians are going first Yea you need to activate "Tech Development" in "Map Options" before you start the game or it will skip the tech phase. I don't remember tanks being able to move infantry. I thought it was they could just blitz with 2 mechs or maybe mech boost the inf ? Anyway, just click on both and move them together and see what happens : )

@zlefin @Cernel @redrum I dont have access to test it (no PC at the moment), but if I recall correctly, you can mouseover and then slightly move the mouse pointer around every 1-2 seconds, while inside the boundaries of the unit picture, that way keeping the pop-up alive. Anyway... a good solution/engine fix could be a to have the pop-up stay popped up by default until the mouse is moved like 10-15 pixel or something?
