A quick update regarding 32 bit installers - looks like it is no longer even an option for us. Not even a choice now whether to include it or not.

Details:
I'm running some updates, and ran across our notes for how to bundle the 32 bit Java version for windows-32 bit installers: https://github.com/triplea-game/assets

Basically, download the 32 bit JDK from some website (https://adoptopenjdk.net/releases.html) and do some re-packaging stuff. That website has JDKs only up to Java 16.

So.. any next release would be on Java 17 or Java 21. It looks like a 32 bit installer is no longer even an option for us (unless someone can find a 32 bit JDK21 somewhere; I kinda suspect such a thing may not even exist now).

The AA attack reflects an EMP attack effect from the "East & West" game.

Sidenote:

As usual TripleA comes with a bundled Java, that is independent from a maybe system-wide installed Java.

So no one needs to take any action (apart from installing TripleA of course).

Also note that Windows-32bit-builds no longer are distributed and supported.
This starts with TripleA 2.7.15007 (of May 2nd, 2025).

This would incur what one would think "fixing" would need to be done. Maybe "expanding" the present system would be better.

Either way someone would still need to define how the system is "broken".

@beelee In Stalingrad it is only a priority. On all other ways it is a normal combat roll and the targeted unit fires back normally.

Make sure it's actually 2.41 that you got. For me I have to wait three times for it to DL from triplea. It goes to 100% and then back to 0 three times before it works.

To check the xml version
go to downloadedMaps
open G 40 expansion uhd boxes
open map
open games

you should have two things in there.
